Hola amigos amantes de la música rock y de la música en general, hoy les traigo un nuevo cover de mi banda favorito Versailles, creo que ya he hablado mucho de esta banda en cada publicación que hago, pero para aquellos que me ven por primera vez, debo mencionar que Versailles es una banda japonesa de Power metal sinfónico, fundada en 2007, y la cual sigue una tendencia visual llamada Visualkei en la cual las bandas usan vestimentas que pudieran decirse extravagantes aunque no siempre, esta banda usa un atuendo como similar al de la aristocracia en el renacimiento, pero con agregados propios del imaginario japonés.

Hello friends lovers of rock music and music in general, today I bring you a new cover of my favorite band Versailles, I think I have already talked a lot about this band in every publication I do, but for those who see me for the first time, I must mention that Versailles is a Japanese band of symphonic Power metal, founded in 2007, and which follows a visual trend called Visualkei in which the bands use clothes that could be said extravagant but not always, this band uses an attire similar to that of the aristocracy in the renaissance, but with additions of the Japanese imaginary.

Esta banda es muy significativa para mí, pues además de brindarme cada día horas de distracción y de bienestar, hizo que mis habilidades en la guitarra eléctrica mejoraran exponencialmente, hace casi 10 años me propuse llegar a tocar como los guitarristas de Versailles, y aunque obviamente no les llego por los talones, es muy gratificante haber adquirido la capacidad de tocar sus canciones y sobre todo sus magníficos solos que son una demostración de virtuosismo, algo que antes era imposible para mí, ninguna otra banda consiguió motivarme para enfocarme tanto en mejorar en el instrumento, tanto en ejecución como composición.

This band is very significant for me, because besides giving me every day hours of distraction and well-being, it made my skills on the electric guitar improve exponentially, almost 10 years ago I set out to get to play like the guitarists of Versailles, and although obviously I do not reach them by the heels, it is very gratifying to have acquired the ability to play their songs and especially their magnificent solos that are a demonstration of virtuosity, something that was impossible for me before, no other band managed to motivate me to focus so much on improving in the instrument, both in execution and composition.

El cover que les traigo a continuación es del tema llamado Shout & Bites, perteneciente al primer EP de la banda lanzado en 2007 llamado Lyrical Sympathy, el cual cuenta con un video musical oficial. Esta es una de mis canciones favoritas, aunque decir favoritas pierde un poco de sentido respecto a esta banda, pues son muchas mis favoritas.

The cover I bring you below is of the song called Shout & Bites, from the band's first EP released in 2007 called Lyrical Sympathy, which has an official music video. This is one of my favorite songs, although to say favorite loses a little bit of sense regarding this band, because they are many of my favorites.

Antes había practicado los solos de este tema, y algunos fragmentos pero nunca me había dispuesto a tocarla completa, aunque parece sencilla o tal vez no, la limpieza al tocar siempre es un reto para mí cuando se trata de esta banda, por supuesto no la he tocado a la perfección pero he quedado conforme, pues difícilmente puedo hacer una mejor ejecución sin que me tome varias semanas.

I had practiced the solos of this song before, and some fragments but I had never been willing to play it complete, although it seems simple or maybe not, clean playing is always a challenge for me when it comes to this band, of course I have not played it to perfection but I have been satisfied, because I can hardly do a better performance without it taking me several weeks.

Para aprendérmela utilicé una tablatura para el Software Guitar pro, combiné las líneas de guitarra de ambos guitarristas, según me gusta más la ejecución, la mayor parte es la perteneciente al guitarrista Hizaki y un solo del guitarrista Teru. Lo que me pareció más complicado fue caer en tiempo en algunas secciones y tocar limpiamente algunos fragmentos.

To learn it I used a tablature for Guitar pro software, I combined the guitar lines of both guitarists, as I like the performance the most, most of it belongs to guitarist Hizaki and a solo by guitarist Teru. What I found more complicated was to fall in time in some sections and to play cleanly some fragments.

Espero disfruten oír este cover tanto como yo he disfrutado tocarlo, por supuesto cada tanto estaré compartiendo con ustedes más covers de esta asombrosa banda, si no la conocen los invito a oírla, creo que no necesariamente tienes que ser amante del rock para disfrutar muchas de sus canciones.
