Our Second Anthem

Venezuelan culture, music and folklore are closely linked with nature, our ancestors, all of this comes directly from the process of ethnic miscegenation that makes us unique in the continent. In these lands, the Venezuelan has a little European, African, Asian and American, therefore we are a very diverse nation that, together with the Caribbean environment, developed a very peculiar way of seeing life, here joy, dance and happiness overcome sadness, difficulties and problems.

The Alma Llanera, composed in 1914 by Pedro Elías Gutiérrez, summarizes in a few lines and with melodic music the characteristics of the Venezuelan, his feelings, his dreams and the daily life of men and women who deeply love their land. That is why it is considered our second national anthem and all the inhabitants of this beautiful country, when listening to those verses, feel proud, happy and deeply moved by the depth of this song, therefore we all know its lyrics, its rhythm and the We sing with energy and emotion.

Nuestro Segundo Himno

La cultura, la música y el folklor venezolano se encuentran estrechamente ligados con la naturaleza, nuestros antepasados todo esto proviene directamente del proceso de mestizaje étnico que nos hace únicos en el continente. En estas tierras el venezolano tiene un poquito de europeo, de africano, de asiático y de americano, por lo tanto somos una nación muy diversa que aunado al ambiente caribeño desarrollo un estilo de ver la vida muy peculiar, aquí la alegría, el baile y la felicidad se sobreponen a la tristeza, las dificultades y los problemas.

El Alma Llanera, compuesta en el año 1914 por Pedro Elías Gutiérrez, resume en pocas líneas y con una melódica música las características propias del venezolano, su sentir, sus sueños y la cotidianidad de hombres y mujeres que aman profundamente a su tierra. Por eso es considerada como nuestro segundo himno nacional y todos los habitantes de este hermoso país al escuchar esas estrofas, se sienten orgullosos, felices y profundamente conmovidos por la profundidad de esta canción, por lo tanto todos nos sabemos su letra, su ritmo y la cantamos con energía y emoción.
