For a long period, I dealt with depression and suicidal thoughts, and usually as a Christian when you talk about these things, you are advised to have “conversations with God”.

Crazily enough, I can remember having these conversations and always feeling like he wasn’t hearing me or maybe I was worthy to be heard because of sin but I am here today which meant he must have heard me.

I feel like there is so much pain in the world and most people have lost hope because even through conversing with God, they still feel stuck but I do know that he hears, he listens and he speaks.

When I read this week’s theme “conversations with God”, I immediately thought of the song “father can you hear me by Tamela Mann” because it totally explains how I felt for those months crying to God.

Durante un largo período, lidié con la depresión y los pensamientos suicidas, y por lo general, como cristiano, cuando hablas de estas cosas, se te recomienda tener “conversaciones con Dios”.

De manera bastante loca, puedo recordar haber tenido estas conversaciones y siempre sentir que no me escuchaba o que tal vez yo era digno de ser escuchado por el pecado, pero hoy estoy aquí, lo que significa que debe haberme escuchado.
