El Proyecto Hive Monagas sigue llegando a las universidades del Estado Monagas en Venezuela. En esta ocasión en particular, la cita fue en el Instituto Universitario Politécnico “Santiago Mariño” extensión Maturín. Tras un primer ciclo de conferencias educativas sobre nuestro Ecosistema Blockchain, se rediseñó gran parte del esquema de las ponencias y se redujo el número de Speaker para fomentar un enfoque mucho más atractivo e interactivo con los estudiantes. Entienda que el lenguaje de la Web3 suele aturdir y confundir a las personas que no manejan estos términos. Este es uno de los grandes retos a superar si se desea que el impacto sea positivo, escueto, y que perdure en la memoria de la sociedad a largo plazo. Bajo estos conceptos buscamos priorizar la rentabilidad y factibilidad de cada una de nuestras actividades.

The Hive Monagas Project continues to reach the universities of the State of Monagas in Venezuela. On this particular occasion, the event was held at the Instituto Universitario Politécnico "Santiago Mariño" Maturín extension. After the first cycle of educational lectures on our Blockchain Ecosystem, much of the scheme of the presentations was redesigned and the number of speakers was reduced to promote a much more attractive and interactive approach with students. Understand that the language of Web3 often dazes and confuses people who do not handle these terms. This is one of the great challenges to overcome if we want the impact to be positive, and succinct, and to last in the memory of society in the long term. Under these concepts, we seek to prioritize the profitability and feasibility of each of our activities.

Para esta tercera conferencia nos propusimos una mayor participación de los estudiantes y asistentes en general. Nos complace decir que dicha estrategia fue un éxito, pues los oyentes se animaron a hacer preguntas relacionadas con el ecosistema de Hive. Hemos recopilado alguna de ellas y las presentamos a continuación:

• ¿En Hive el contenido es limitado?

• ¿Hive es una empresa independiente o depende de otras redes?

• ¿Si las claves se pierden se pueden recuperar?

• En caso de que se masifique la cantidad de usuarios y aumente la producción de token Hive, ¿Qué medidas existen para regular la devaluación o inflación del mismo?

• ¿Pueden las grandes ballenas manipular el precio del token? ¿La gobernanza se vería afectada si estas compran Hive masivamente?

• ¿La infraestructura Blockchain de Hive está abierta a todos los desarrolladores?

Las ponencias y aclaración de dudas estuvieron a cargo de los speakers @soldierofdreams, @nathyortiz y @morenow. Nos encantó que los estudiantes hicieran preguntas enfocadas tanto en la infraestructura de Hive como en su modelo escalable. En este sentido, la duración de la actividad se segmentó de la siguiente manera:

For this third conference we aimed for more participation from students and attendees in general. We are pleased to say that this strategy was a success, as listeners were encouraged to ask questions related to the Hive ecosystem. We have compiled some of them and present them below:

• Is content limited at Hive?

• Is Hive an independent company or does it depend on other networks?

• If keys are lost, can they be recovered?

• If the number of users increases and the production of Hive tokens increases, what measures are in place to regulate the devaluation or inflation of the token?

• Can large whales manipulate the price of the token, and would governance be affected if they buy Hive en masse?

• Is the Hive Blockchain infrastructure open to all developers?

The presentations and clarification of doubts were in charge of the speakers @soldierofdreams, @nathyortiz, and @morenow. We were delighted that students asked questions focused on both Hive's infrastructure and its scalable model. In this regard, the duration of the activity was segmented as follows:

• Ponencias: 25 minutos.

• Interacción con los estudiantes: 35 minutos.

Este nuevo modelo de conferencia resultó ser más didáctico que el anterior. Gracias a este cambio, los estudiantes pudieron interactuar directamente con los ponentes, aclarar sus dudas, y familiarizarse más con los términos que definen al Ecosistema Blockchain de Hive. Para esta actividad se emplearon recursos audiovisuales que motivaron a los asistentes ingresar a Hive.io y descubrir en tiempo real las virtudes que ofrece nuestro ecosistema. Esto abre el camino a una nueva idealización sobre la promoción educativa de Hive, en la cual seguimos trabajando para alcanzar nuevas metas y ampliar nuestro enfoque.

• Presentations: 25 minutes.

• Interaction with students: 35 minutes.

This new lecture model proved to be more didactic than the previous one. Thanks to this change, students were able to interact directly with the speakers, clarify their doubts, and become more familiar with the terms that define the Hive Blockchain Ecosystem. For this activity, audiovisual resources were used to motivate attendees to enter Hive.io and discover in real time the virtues offered by our ecosystem. This opens the way to a new idealization of Hive's educational promotion, on which we continue working to reach new goals and broaden our approach.
