The upcoming Bitcoin halving has me very excited because it is undeniable that this scheduled event that occurs every 210,000 blocks is of much impact to the entire crypto world on this planet.

That's why out of a 4 hour class I taught on Bitcoin this was one of the segments I enjoyed the most and I want to share it hoping you find it as interesting as my students did.

El próximo halving de Bitcoin me tiene muy emocionada porque es innegable que este evento programado que ocurre cada 210.000 bloques es de mucho impacto para todo el mundo cripto de este planeta.

Es por eso que cuando di una clase sobre Bitcoin este fue uno de los segmentos que más me gustó y quiero compartirlo esperando que les parezca tan interesante como a mis estudiantes.

The best way to learn is to explain.
I have heard this premise of learning processes since I was in college, but with my new role as an adult student that since 2019 I have assumed, it has become more necessary for me to apply it and as all maturity brings with it very positive changes I have also realized how powerful an explanation with conviction and passion becomes, both for the listener and the one explaining.

A few months ago I had my first experience as a teacher of Bitcoin, in the diploma of decentralized technologies of the Iberoamerican Foundation of technology FUNINTEC endorsed and accredited by the Universidad Generalsimo Sebastian Francisco de Miranda UNIAGSFMI.

La mejor forma de aprender es explicando.
Esta premisa de los procesos de aprendizaje la he escuchado desde que estaba en la universidad, pero con mi nuevo rol de estudiante adulta que desde el 2019 he asumido, se ha hecho más necesario para mí aplicarla y como toda madurez trae consigo cambios muy positivos también me he dado cuenta de lo poderoso que se convierte una explicación con convicción y pasión, tanto para el que escucha como para el que explica.

Hace pocos meses tuve mi primera experiencia como profesora de Bitcoin, en el diplomado de tecnologías descentralizadas de La Fundación Iberoamericana de tecnología FUNINTEC avalado y acreditado por la Universidad Generalsimo Sebastian Francisco de Miranda UNIAGSFMI.

The diploma has 18 students and the class was conducted in a blended manner, some participated via Zoom and others were present, if you ask me, it is easier to manage the group when it is not hybrid, it is preferable that everyone is online or everyone is physically present because it is difficult to concentrate attention when you have to be aware of the two groups.

Despite that, the class went well, and it should have because I really felt great with the group, I hope they did too, happy with the topic I was talking about and in all humility, it feels great to know that a seed of curiosity and expectation is planted for these people to start their fall down the most spectacular rabbit hole there can be, of course I say that for me because I am really passionate about this.

In this training program many aspects of decentralized technology are covered and specific characteristics of some blockchains that the institution's directive chose are studied, at first I was invited to teach the fundamental analysis trading class in another diploma course that is decentralized finance, but when I reviewed the complete proposal of the two diploma courses I suggested them that any 3rd or 4th level study in this field has to start with the mother of all crypto currency: Bitcoin.

El diplomado tiene 18 estudiantes y la clase se realizó de manera semipresencial, algunos participaron vía Zoom y otros estaban presentes, si me preguntan, es más fácil manejar el grupo cuando no es híbrido, es preferible que todos estén online o todos estén presentes físicamente porque la atención es difícil concentrarla cuando hay que estar pendiente de los dos grupos.

A pesar de eso, la clase transcurrió bien, y debió estarlo porque realmente yo me sentí muy bien con el grupo, espero que ellos también, feliz del tema del que estaba hablando y con toda humildad, se siente grande saber que se siembra una semilla de curiosidad y expectativa para que estas personas inicien su caída por la madriguera más espectacular que puede haber, claro lo digo por mí porque realmente me apasiona esto.

En este programa formativo se abarcan muchos aspectos de la tecnología descentralizada y se estudian características específicas de algunas cadenas de bloques que la directiva de la institución escogió, al principio fui invitada para dictar la clase de trading de análisis fundamental en otro diplomado que es de finanzas descentralizadas, pero cuando revisé la propuesta completa de los dos diplomados les sugerí que todo estudio de 3er o 4to nivel en este ámbito tiene que comenzar por la madre de toda moneda criptográfica: Bitcoin.

I am also convincing them that we should dedicate some classes to study a state-of-the-art Blockchain such as Hive, this ecosystem that you never stop learning about because it is constantly growing and evolving and makes people really live in Web3.

So, finally, given that one of the biggest expectations we have for this year 2024 on the topic of cryptocurrencies is Halving, I just want to share with you that of all the class I gave, what I enjoyed the most was talking about Halving. I can't leave you a longer video about what I recorded because this is a diploma course I worked for in which the students enrolled paying their tuition, etc.

Already Halving is near, later we can talk about the implications it can bring to the crypto ecosystem beyond the technical fact I explain in this segment.

También les estoy convenciendo de que dediquemos unas clases a estudiar una Blockchain de última generación como lo es Hive, este ecosistema del que nunca se deja de aprender porque está en constante crecimiento y evolución y hace que las personas realmente vivamos en Web3.

Entonces, finalmente, dado que una de las expectativas más grandes que tenemos para este año 2024 en el tema de criptomonedas es el Halving, solo quiero compartirles que de toda la clase que di, lo que más me gustó fue hablar del Halving. No les puedo dejar un vídeo más largo sobre lo grabado porque este es un diplomado para el que trabajé en el que los estudiantes se inscribieron pagando su matrícula, etc.

Ya el Halving está cerca, más adelante podemos hablar de las implicaciones que puede traer al ecosistema cripto más allá del hecho técnico que explico en este segmento.
