Esta es la historia de un día que pareciera ser un día normal en que llegué a mi trabajo como cada día y aprovecho de conversar un poquito con mi compañera y ella me cuenta que ese mismo día en la tarde la banda cubana "Buena Fe" se presentaría gratis en un espacio abierto de la ciudad.

This is the story of a day that seems to be a normal day when I arrived at my job as every day and I take the opportunity to talk a little with my partner and she tells me that the same day in the afternoon the Cuban band "Buena Fe" would be presented for free in an open space of the city.

Me gusta muchísimo la música de Buena Fe, es una banda cubana y creo que los he escuchado desde el año 2012 aproximadamente, yo no sabría definir su estilo musical encasillándolos en un estilo concreto, pero siento que le ponen bastante Pop Rock, música caribeña, pero al mismo tiempo yo los percibo cómo la nueva generación en cierta forma de trova cubana, porque ellos traen una herencia de la vieja trova y de la nueva trova de Pablo y Silvio que tanto amo.

I really like the music of Buena Fe, it is a Cuban band and I think I have been listening to them since approximately 2012, I would not be able to define their musical style by pigeonholing them in a specific style, but I feel that they put quite a Pop Rock, Caribbean music, but at the same time I perceive them as the new generation in a certain way of Cuban trova, because they bring an inheritance of the old trova and the new trova of Pablo and Silvio that I love so much.

Quizá esto para algunos sea difícil ubicarlos en ese tipo de música, pero definitivamente, sus letras tan poéticas y ocurrentes no son nada común y denotan esa herencia de trova de la que les hablo.

Perhaps this is difficult for some to place them in that type of music, but definitely, their poetic and original lyrics are not common and denote that trova heritage that I am talking about.

Así que al saber de este concierto me pasé todo el día animada, invité a mi esposo y a otra compañera de trabajo, también a mi hermana y hasta a mis hijos y a mis sobrinas, quería que todos estos seres queridos tuvieran la oportunidad de disfrutarlo y sobre todo los niños para que escucharan un tipo de música diferente y de tanta calidad.

So when I found out about this concert I spent the whole day excited, I invited my husband and another work colleague, also my sister and even my children and my nieces, I wanted all these loved ones to have the opportunity to enjoy it and especially the children to listen to a different and such high quality music.

Todos fuimos, llegamos alrededor de las 5 de la tarde, bien temprano porque como el espectáculo era gratuito, me dio miedo que nos quedáramos sin puestos para ver el concierto cómodamente. Por cierto, lo más cómodo que se podía encontrar era estar sentados en un muro donde si me emocionaba mucho tal vez podía caer cuatro metros abajo.

We all went, we arrived around 5 in the afternoon, very early because as the show was free, I was afraid we would run out of places to comfortably watch the concert. By the way, the most comfortable thing you could find was to be sitting on a wall where if I got too excited maybe I could fall four meters below.

El concierto comenzó muy tarde, creo que más tarde de las 7 de la noche, ya los niños se estaban fastidiando un poquito, y realmente no me gustaron para nada los artistas que invitaron como teloneros, lamento decirlo, pero es que tenían estilos musicales que no tenían nada que ver con el público de Buena Fe, lo único bueno es que eran talentos locales a os que estaban apoyando los productores, pero bueno, aplaudimos cortésmente esperando impacientes la aparición de buena fe.

El concierto comenzó muy tarde, creo que más tarde de las 7 de la noche, ya los niños se estaban fastidiando un poquito, y realmente no me gustaron para nada los artistas que invitaron como teloneros, lamento decirlo, pero es que tenían estilos musicales que no tenían nada que ver con el público de Buena Fe, lo único bueno es que eran talentos locales a os que estaban apoyando los productores, pero bueno, aplaudimos cortésmente esperando impacientes la aparición de buena fe.

The concert started very late, I think it was later than 7 at night, and the kids were getting a little bit annoyed, and I really didn't like the opening acts at all, I'm sorry to say it, but they had musical styles that had nothing to do with the Buena Fe audience, the only good thing is that they were local talents that the producers were supporting, but well, we politely applauded impatiently waiting for Buena Fe to appear.

Y precisamente su aparición por fin fue lo máximo, tienen una calidad que no tienen nada que envidiar a grandes bandas muy famosas y cantaron mis canciones preferidas, todas ellas, el concierto duro un poco más de dos horas y yo no quería que terminara. Creo que pueden ver en mi cara la emoción y la felicidad que tenía.

And their appearance finally was the best, they have a quality that has nothing to envy to very famous bands and they sang my favorite songs, all of them, the concert lasted a little more than two hours and I didn't want it to end. I think you can see in my face the emotion and happiness I had.

Otra cosa muy bonita que me pasó ese día fue el encontrarme con varias personas que hace tiempo no veía y que también les gusta este tipo de música, todos andaban eufóricos.

Another very nice thing that happened to me that day was finding several people I hadn't seen in a long time and who also like this type of music, everyone was euphoric.

Yo quedé muy satisfecha, pero al mismo tiempo con ganas de mucho más de Buena Fe y si vienen pronto de nuevo a Venezuela espero estar en primera fila para verlos, incluso si tengo que pagar la entrada sin duda lo haría porque lo valen, así que espero poder hacerlo.

I was very satisfied, but at the same time wanting much more of Buena Fe and if they come soon to Venezuela I hope to be in the front row to see them, even if I have to pay the entrance fee without a doubt I would do it because they are worth it, so I hope to be able to do it.
