Hoy comparto un cover hecho con mi teclado Midi, usando como es habitual el programa GarageBand. Este cover es de la canción "Nightcall" en la versión de Kavinsky.

Esta canción fue usada en la película "Drive" con Ryan Gosling. Algo interesante también, es que la canción fue producida por Guy-Manuel de Homen-Christo, quien era uno de los integrantes de Daft Punk. Siento que en parte se entiende el porqué el sonido tan Retrowave que tiene la canción y el uso de el Vocoder tan característico de este grupo francés.

Todos los sonidos que hice para emular son de los sintetizadores de GarageBand. Me gusta muchísimo este programa porque definitivamente puedo emular casi cualquier género con todas las posibilidades de sonidos qué hay en ella. La versión que hice es totalmente instrumental , porque todavía no sé usar muy bien el vocoder para sacar ese sonido de la voz.

Today I share a cover made with my Midi keyboard, using the GarageBand program as usual. This cover is of the song "Nightcall" in the Kavinsky version.

This song was used in the movie "Drive" with Ryan Gosling. Something interesting too, is that the song was produced by Guy-Manuel de Homen-Christo, who was one of the members of Daft Punk. I feel that in part it is understood why the song has such a Retrowave sound and the use of the Vocoder so characteristic of this French group.

All the sounds I made to emulate are from the GarageBand synths. I really like this program because I can definitely emulate almost any genre with all the possibilities of sounds that are in it. The version I did is totally instrumental, because I still don't know how to use the vocoder very well to get that sound out of the voice.
