So I recorded the whole process of drawing a mandarin using colored pencils just to see if I can have a career of recording video processes hahaha but I failed badly. First I have an arm/stand that I mounted on the table but I wasn't able to mount it properly because it's a clip-on and there isn't much space at the edge of the table to clip onto just because there's a metal bar that holds it.. So the arm that holds my phone is very wobbly.
I didn't know the table shaking was too noticeable in the video until I was half-way so I ended up changing the angles and the mounting as well, but still wobbles a lot for some reason. Whatever, I just finished the video and drawing anyway.
In the video you can see the changes in angles lol so that was one of the problems.
Another problem that I had was the video-editing. Everything was smooth until the export part. For some reason the color changed A LOT when exporting and I tried a lot of solutions I found on Youtube but they didn't work. So I had to re-do all the color adjustments on the video just so I can export it properly. I've never experienced this problem before but it might be because I used iPhone to film this and I usually use a camera for videos. Besides, it's been years already since I've done any video recording + editing in Premiere Pro so I kinda forgot a lot of things.
At the same time drawing while recording is so annoying anyway. I didn't even have a proper lighting to begin with and I was just relying on the window light lol. So yeah... I guess I'll just stick to photo process with my traditional drawings and stuff and just do a recording with my digital paintings as they're easier. :P
