Hola estimada familia de Hive, estoy muy contenta de participar a través de ustedes obsequiando un tema musical muy significativo para mí. Además, extiendo mi agradecimiento a 3speak y discord, por el apoyo brindado y a todas las comunidades.

La nueva canción, es uno de los géneros latinoamericanos que más me apasionan y suelo cantar en lo más íntimo con mi familia. En esta oportunidad les regalo el tema Canción del Elegido de nuestro querido Silvio Rodríguez, excelente compositor, guitarrista cubano, el cual tiene una larga trayectoria, y desde los años 1980 obtuvo su mayor auge a través de la Nueva Trova Cubana.

La Canción del Elegido es un ícono en la música latinoamericana, versionada por muchos cantantes entre ellos Soledad Bravo, Hector “El Torito” Acosta, Vocal Sampling, Tania Libertad, Tito Tapia, Alvaro González, entre otros.

Se cree que esta canción la hizo Silvio Rodríguez al Ché Guevara pero en realidad, según cuenta en uno de sus conciertos en la Habana, Cuba, la Canción del elegido, la creó en homenaje al Señor Abel Santamaría Cuadrado, quien nace el 20 de octubre de 1927 y en el paso del tiempo, Silvio admira e internaliza un poco la vida de este personaje, el cual fue uno de los luchadores sociales más importantes en la historia de ese país.

The new song, is one of the Latin American genres that I am most passionate about and I usually sing in the most intimate with my family. In this opportunity I give you the song "Canción del Elegido" by our beloved Silvio Rodríguez, excellent composer, Cuban guitarist, who has a long career, and since the 1980s obtained its greatest boom through the Nueva Trova Cubana.
