The Harry Potter fan's paradise

¿Alguna vez has visitado un restaurante temático? Personalmente, en mi ciudad no existen, al menos que yo conozca. Sin embargo, recientemente supe de Patronus, un lugar temático basado en una de mis sagas favoritas, Harry Potter. Hoy quiero compartir mi experiencia al visitar este lugar y qué mejor lugar para hacerlo que en la comunidad de Hive Food.

Have you ever visited a themed restaurant? Personally, they don't exist in my city, at least that I know of. However, I recently learned about Patronus, a themed place based on one of my favorite sagas, Harry Potter. Today I want to share my experience visiting this place and what better place to do it than in the Hive Food community.

Patronus se encuentra ubicado en el Centro Comercial Hyper Jumbo en Maracay, y combina la pasión por el mundo mágico con la comida. En su menú podemos encontrar hamburguesas inspiradas en los tres principales personajes de la saga, club houses, helados, batidos, galletas y la infaltable cerveza de mantequilla.

Patronus is located in the Hyper Jumbo Shopping Center in Maracay, and combines the passion for the magical world with food. In their menu we can find burgers inspired by the three main characters of the saga, club houses, ice cream, milkshakes, cookies and the infallible butter beer.

En esta ocasión, pedí la hamburguesa Ron Weasley, que es bastante sencilla. Está compuesta por pan brioche, 125 gramos de carne (o pollo, en mi caso opté por carne), queso amarillo, 150 gramos de papas estilo rústico y las salsas básicas. Acompañé mi hamburguesa con un refresco. También existe la posibilidad de agrandar el menú con lo que ellos llaman una "Hechizo Burger", que consiste en añadir 5 tequeños de queso y 8 salchichas.

On this occasion, I ordered the Ron Weasley burger, which is quite simple. It is composed of brioche bun, 125 grams of beef (or chicken, in my case I opted for beef), yellow cheese, 150 grams of rustic style potatoes and the basic sauces. I accompanied my burger with a soft drink. There is also the possibility of enlarging the menu with what they call a "Hechizo Burger", which consists of adding 5 cheese tequeños and 8 sausages.

Además de las hamburguesas, también puedes disfrutar de huevos de dragón (albóndigas), Dobby tequeños, Muslos de Hipogrifo (muslos de pollo), hot dogs, club houses y Nuggets de pollo. Me pareció que tienen un menú bastante variado y divertido.

In addition to the burgers, you can also enjoy dragon eggs (meatballs), Dobby tequeños, Hippogriff Thighs (chicken thighs), hot dogs, club houses and Chicken Nuggets. I found them to have quite a varied and fun menu.

Los batidos que ofrece el restaurante son increíbles. Todos están inspirados en pociones de Harry Potter, como Amortentia (la famosa poción del amor), Felix Felicis (la poción de la felicidad), Multijugos, Dragón Blood y, por supuesto, la cerveza de mantequilla, que es una receta hecha a base de nueces, cerveza sin alcohol y mantequilla.

The milkshakes offered by the restaurant are amazing. They are all inspired by Harry Potter potions, such as Amortentia (the famous love potion), Felix Felicis (the potion of happiness), Multijugos, Dragon Blood and, of course, the butterbeer, which is a recipe made from nuts, non-alcoholic beer and butter.

Si después de todo esto aún te queda espacio, tienen una variedad de postres para compartir. En mi visita, solo disfruté de la deliciosa hamburguesa y el refresco, y fue más que suficiente para mí. Sin embargo, planeo volver para probar los batidos y los helados, sin duda.

If you still have room left after all this, they have a variety of desserts to share. On my visit, I only enjoyed the delicious burger and soda, and it was more than enough for me. However, I plan to return to try the milkshakes and ice cream, no doubt.

Lo que más me gustó de este lugar fue toda la ambientación y la amabilidad del personal cuando llega un fanático de la saga deseando ver y tocar todo lo que tienen allí. Me tomé fotos en cada rincón y lo que más disfruté fue ponerme el sombrero seleccionador. Hace poco vi en una publicidad de Instagram que, si visitas el lugar en tu cumpleaños, te hacen el famoso pastel que Hagrid le hizo a Harry. ¿Qué más podría pedir un potterhead?

What I liked most about this place was all the ambiance and the friendliness of the staff when a fan of the saga arrives wanting to see and touch everything they have there. I took pictures in every corner and what I enjoyed the most was putting on the Sorting Hat. I recently saw in an Instagram advertisement that if you visit the place on your birthday, they make you the famous cake that Hagrid made for Harry. What more could a potterhead ask for?

También disponen de juegos de mesa temáticos de Harry Potter y otros temas para que pases una tarde cómoda en ese lugar. Es realmente fantástico y estoy deseando volver. Espero que todos los hivers de Maracay se animen a visitar y disfrutar de un día completamente diferente.

They also have Harry Potter themed board games and other themes to make for a comfortable afternoon there. It really is fantastic and I can't wait to go back. I hope all the hivers in Maracay are encouraged to visit and enjoy a completely different day out.
