    Welcome to another Hive Learner's Creative Sunday Initiative with George Dee. It's the last day of the year and I am so happy to be making another video for the last time in 2024.

    I want to use this opportunity to say a big thank you to @threespeak, The Hive Learner's community and all my viewers across the world for the love and support you have shown me throughout the year, you guys are awesome and I wouldn't have been inspired to always make those delicacies if not for you all.


    As usual, I made something really yummy and you are all going to love it. Just like we had our friends and family around us during Christmas, I am sure the same will happen on the first day of the year. There will be a need for refreshment at our various homes so while thinking about something rare - a snack to be specific, something popped up in my mind after staring at some over-ripened plantain in my kitchen.

    If you have been seeing my video, you can tell that I love Plantain a lot and I don't get tired because there are numerous ways to make Plantain really enticing. For today's entry, I made something really cool from plantain and sausage. The outcome was yummy and I bet that you will love it.

    Recipes

    Plantain
    Sausage
    Chili powder
    Groundnut oil
    Onions
    Seasoning
    Salt

    Procedure

    As usual, the first thing I did was to prepare all my recipes for use.

    • I peeled the plantain and cut them into different shapes.

    • I cooked the sausage with seasoning before cutting them into smaller sizes as well.

    After doing all of these, I went on to the main process of preparing these delicious snacks. Honestly, the procedure is simple and you can try this after seeing the video.

    • I added a little salt to the plantain and mixed it well so that every part of it would be touched.

    • I heated the groundnut oil and started putting the plantain in the hot oil. I allowed it to fry properly before putting it in a basket to drain the excess oil if there is any and I repeated the process for the rest of the plantain.

    • After frying all the plantain, I moved on to also frying the sausage I cooked with seasoning earlier. It doesn't have to fry for too long because we cooked it already.

    -I finished frying and removed the ground oil from the pan because I don't need it anymore. I poured the fried plantain and sausage into the empty frying pan, added little salt, the chopped onions, seasoning and stirred for two minutes before turning off the cooker.


    • I allowed the combination to cool off and started inserting the plantain and sausage into the stick. I repeated the process until I exhausted the stick.

    The outcome of this was really good and you will definitely love it. This is one snack you can give to your guest as a refreshment and believe me when I say they will ask for me.

    As I mentioned earlier, this would be my last video of the year and I wish everyone a happy new year in advance. 2024 will definitely be a prosperous year for us, bye for now.
