Mi primera recomendacion de cine y tv show en 3speak y espavlog: Dead like me

Tan muertos como yo es una serie parodia o comedia que habla de la muerte y la vida como tema fundamental, se que puede que la muerte sea un tema demasiado fuerte para muchas personas, pero esta serie se centrará en todas esas cosas que "reniegas en hacer" y que puede que él día de mañana te arrepientas de no haberlas hecho.

El personaje principal de la serie es Geargea o Geoge una joven de apenas 17 años que se ve forzada a buscar su primer empleo tras dejar la universidad, una gran sorpresa llega desde el cielo en su primer día de trabajo y su historia da un tumbo radical, ella se transforma en lo que nos explican en la serie como "una parca" una persona que no es ni una muerta ni una persona viva, ella tiene prohibido interactuar con su vida anterior, pero al ser una joven muy curiosa su forma de hacer las cosas hacen que sea imposible que quiera saber cómo siguen sus vidas sin ella.

Es lo que todos ustedes se están preguntando al ver esta sinopsis, pues todo comienza cuando entiendes que fue lo que terminó la vida de la jovencita George, y al ver su forma de vida tan quejumbrosa y desanimada,ahora se esconde bajo un sentido del humor ácido y negro para apartarse de ciertas personas que le caerán mal.

Lamentablemente la serie fue descontinuada en su segunda temporada por falta de presupuesto y baja audiencia así que la historia de cómo George llega al cielo no tiene una conclusión dentro de la serie pero para nosotros, los que si amamos el sentido de la vida que muestra esta hermosa comedia, la franquicia nos dio una película.

La serie se estrenó el día 27 de junio del 2003 y concluyó fortuitamente tras sus 29 capítulos, culminando así en 2 hermosas temporadas llenas de posibilidad enmascarada detrás de un humor bastante ácido y oscuro. El 17 de febrero de 2009 se tomo la desición de estrenar en cines la película de "Dead like me". Una historia totalmente trillada donde el jefe de la personaje principal nos alienta a romper las reglas. Obviamente si la serie en tv no resultó bien, ya saben los resultados en los cines. No hace falta que lo aclaremos demasiado.

Aún aunque la gente en esos tiempos no entendiera la serie por completo y tuvieron que darlo de baja, el proyecto es hermosamente positivo, para mi uno de los mejores mensajes que he visto en tv. "Vive tu vida al máximo, no te pierdas de pasar tiempo con tu familia, intenta conocer gente nueva cada vez que puedes, no esperes a que el tiempo pase y te caiga una tapa de inodoro espacial en la cabeza para darte cuenta que perdiste tanto tiempo".
