    About :

It is another beautiful Sunday, I welcome you all to my blog and I would love you all to grab a sit and watch my tutorial on how I would be making this Wonderful soup.

I will be cooking egusi soup as my creative Sunday, I believe everyone has their styles in which they use to prepare their meals, it can be the same process with mine or yours can be different, there is always room for engagement and you can comment on how you prefer to make this type of soup.

    LISTS OF INGREDIENTS
    💗Powdered melon
    💗Stockfish
    💗Meat
    💗Dried fish
    💗Crayfish
    💗Seasoning powder
    💗Salt
    💗Onions
    💗Ugwu leaf

    STEP 1️⃣
I started by washing my meat then added my seasoning powder, curry, onions, and salt, I mixed it thoroughly, this meat comprised the intestines, tripe, liver and so on I boiled it for some minutes, and then set it aside

    STEP 2️⃣
I added water to my powdered melon to form a paste and mix, while doing this I added a pinch of salt and seasoning powder so that my egusi would have a better taste while frying.

    STEP 3️⃣
I will be using the frying method for this soup but the frying will not be too intense, so I placed my cooking pot on my gas, added my red oil, and allowed to heat for a minute before adding my melon paste into it.

One thing about this soup is that you must allow it to cook well because it can disturb the stomach if it is not well prepared.

    STEP 4️⃣
The next thing to do is to add a little quantity of water because I do not want my soup to be too thick, also I added my meat with the meat stock into it, allowing it to boil for some minutes before adding my pepper to it.

After adding pepper, I mixed and allowed it to cook together for some minutes as well, I tasted for salt and everything was balanced then I moved on to wash the vegetable I would be using, for this soup, I used ugwu leaf, I rinse the vegetables and drained the water in a sieve then set it aside

    FINAL STEP
After some minutes of cooking, I opened and added my vegetable to the soup, then off my gas and allowed the heat to cook the vegetable, the vegetable must not be overcooked, just allow it to steam and it is ready.

This soup can be paired with any swallow of your choice, it is so delicious if you know how to prepare it and one thing about egusi soup is that it doesn't need much salt if you are adding your meat stock then you have to lessen the quantity of salt you will be adding into the soup.

Thank you all for taking your precious time to watch my video, I hope you learn one or two things from it and also you can share your method of cooking this soup as well.
