It is another edition of Creative Sunday, I wish us all a prosperous week.
Today I will be sharing how I love to prepare my pasta and how it came out well.
Firstly I do not like to mix my pasta the way everybody prepares it, I love to parboil my pasta first and drain the water then rinse it under running water or add water to it to cool it and set it aside
INGREDIENTS USED
Pepper mix
Spring onion
Tomatoes paste
Vegetable oil
Seasoning cubes
Salt
Smoked fish
Crayfish
The first step is to wash all my ingredients and set them aside, then parboil the pasta and drain the water from it to reduce excess starch.
The next step is to de-bone the dried fish I will be using, then rinse it and set it aside as well.
The next process was to prepare my sauce for the pasta, I rinsed my pot then placed it on my gas, allowed it to dry for some seconds then added my vegetable oil, left it for 30 seconds before adding my chopped onions, left the onions to release its juice inside the oil and allow it to look a little brownish before proceeding to the next step.
The next step is to fry the Tomato paste for some minutes, I love to fry this so that the taste will blend with my cooking, fry until the oil comes on top of the paste then I add my pepper mix, I have already blended my pepper with the crayfish then mix, allow it to fry for some minutes before adding my seasoning cubes to it, I leave it for some minutes then added little water to it then add my dried fish into the sauce then cover it to cook.
After some minutes of boiling, I added my parboiled pasta into the sauce and then mixed it thoroughly, after mixing I left it for some minutes to steam together before adding my spring onion to garnish it. This doesn't take much time, after steaming then your pasta is ready, and you can now serve it.
