Hello my hive people
Today's music is titled Labyrinth. It is a Joropo Oriental Sucrense (JOSU) composed of the musician, mandolinist and popular cultist Daniel Mayz. The joropo Laberinto is a type of popular music from eastern Venezuela that, like others, is composed under the purest and most ancient Venezuelan musical tradition. This particular joropo has the characteristic that it is a single piece made up of two parts: a first part in a minor key and a second part in a major one. It does not have any other additions such as the Chorus or Harp Strike. The joropo is written in 3/4 time signature and its texture, typical of this type of traditional music, gives it that touch of Venezuelan character of JOSU. On this occasion, I am accompanied by the master Alfonzo Moreno with the Venezuelan Cuatro and Diego Padilla with the Peruvian Cajon.
La música de hoy se titula Laberinto. Se trata de un Joropo Oriental Sucrense (JOSU) compuesto por el músico, mandolinista y cultor popular Daniel Mayz. El joropo Laberinto es un tipo de música popular del oriente venezolano que, al igual que otros, está compuesto al amparo de la más pura y rancia tradición musical venezolana. Este joropo en particular tiene la caracterÃstica que es de una sola pieza conformada por dos partes: una primera parte en tonalidad menor y otra segunda parte en mayor. No tiene ningún otro agregado como el Estribillo o Golpe de Arpa. El joropo está escrito en compás de 3/4 y su textura, propia de este tipo de música tradicional, le da ese toque de venezolanidad caracterÃstica del JOSU. En esta oportunidad, me acompañan el maestro Alfonzo Moreno con el Cuatro venezolano y Diego Padilla con el Cajón peruano.
