El Yerberito Moderno - Symphonic Salsa Concert🎤[ESP-ENG]

Hola, Hive.

Una de las más grandes virtudes de los músicos venezolanos es su gran versatilidad, podemos pasar de tocar una sinfonía de Gustav Mahler una semana a hacer un concierto de Rock la siguiente y luego uno de jazz. Por esta razón en este post quiero compartir con ustedes un fragmento de lo que fue el concierto Salsa Sinfónica realizado por la Orquesta Sinfónica de Aragua en mayo de 2019.

En esta oportunidad escucharemos el gran talento y carisma de Yadira Navas interpretando El Yerberito Moderno, ese pegajoso cha – cha – cha compuesto por Nestor Mieres en los años 50’s y que inmortalizó la gran Celia Cruz

One of the greatest virtues of Venezuelan musicians is their great versatility, we can go from playing a symphony by Gustav Mahler one week to doing a concert of rock the next and then a jazz concert. For this reason in this post I want to share with you a fragment of what was the concert Symphonic Salsa performed by the Aragua Symphony Orchestra in May 2019.


In this opportunity we will listen to the great talent and charisma of Yadira Navas playing El Yerberito Moderno, that sticky cha - cha - cha composed by Nestor Mieres in the 50's and that immortalized the great Celia Cruz

Para mí fue un enorme placer escribir los arreglos sinfónicos y dirigir este concierto que reunió en el escenario del Teatro de la Ópera de Maracay, no solo a los músicos de una de las principales Orquestas Sinfónicas del país, como lo es la OSA, sino a grandes talentos de la música caribeña con dilatada trayectoria nacional e internacional.

It was a great pleasure for me to write the symphonic arrangements and conduct this concert that brought together on stage at the Teatro de la Ópera de Maracay, not only the musicians of one of the main symphony orchestras in the country, such as the OSA, but also the great talents of Caribbean music with an extensive national and international career.
