When we saw the art of the theme of the week what logically came to our minds was our childhood, we believe that most of us went through the same thing, after all, who did not fly a paper kite as a child, well, in our case they were not paper but plastic bags but the essence is the same.

Childhood for most of us involves sharing with family, perhaps most of our memories are of those moments and that is why we decided to choose a song that reminds us of family values that should be kept intact, we believe this is essential because life as it is now makes us move further and further away from our families, and we are not referring to physical distance precisely.

Cuando vimos el arte de la temática de la semana lo que lógicamente vino a nuestras mentes fue nuestra niñez, creemos que a la mayoría le paso lo mismo en realidad, a fin de cuentas ¿Quién no voló una cometa de papel cuando era niño?, bueno, en nuestro caso no eran de papel sino de bolsas de plástico pero la esencia es la misma.

La niñez para la mayoría involucra compartir en familia, quizá la mayor parte de nuestros recuerdos son de esos momentos y es a raíz de eso que decidimos escoger una canción que nos recuerde los valores familiares que deben mantenerse intactos, creemos que esto es fundamental ya que la vida como es ahora hace que nos alejemos cada vez mas de nuestras familias, y no nos referimos a alejamiento físico precisamente.

La canción que les traemos en esta semana 109 del Hive Open Mic lleva por nombre "La vida... es un ratico", fue compuesta e interpretada por el colombiano Juanes (Juan Esteban Aristizabal) y corresponde al álbum que lleva el mismo nombre de la canción que fue lanzado en el año 2007.
