Reactivándome en este prestigioso festival que reúne al talento musical de la blockchain de HIVE. Preparar una presentación siempre es un gran reto, la semana pasada no pude participar, porque me ocurrió una de esas cosas que a cualquier músico le puede ocurrir, es decir, el tema que quería interpretar no salía como lo esperaba, sin embargo ese tema lo estoy estudiando para traerlo al festival en lo que me sienta satisfecho con el resultado. Y es que participar en el HIVE MUSIC FESTIVAL en su semana 40 - ronda número 01, es un gran experiencia, que me exige prepararme, y eso va acompañado de un gran aprendizaje.

Reactivating myself in this prestigious festival that brings together the musical talent of the HIVE blockchain. Preparing a presentation is always a great challenge, last week I could not participate, because one of those things that can happen to any musician happened to me, that is, the song I wanted to interpret did not come out as expected, however that theme I am studying it to bring it to the festival in what I feel satisfied with the result. And is that participating in the HIVE MUSIC FESTIVAL in its 40th week - round number 01, is a great experience, which requires me to prepare myself, and that is accompanied by a great learning.

Hoy he realizado la interpretación en versión instrumental de un bolero bastante famoso del compositor Roberto Cantoral, nada más y nada menos que el tema el RELOJ, ¿Cuántos recuerdos nos trae este tema? El tema lo he interpretado en la tonalidad del Sol Mayor, haciendo la melodía con flauta dulce, y el acompañamiento con la guitarra, instrumento que cada día comprendo mas y estoy contento por mi progreso en el mismo. Vale aclarar que este tema lo había interpretado en una oportunidad para la comunidad amiga de MUSIC, la novedad en esta ocasión es que no utilizo una pista de fondo, y en su lugar , el acompañamiento lo he realizado con la guitarra y las maracas.

Today I have performed an instrumental version of a very famous bolero by the composer Roberto Cantoral, nothing more and nothing less than the song "El RELOJ", how many memories does this song bring back? I have interpreted the song in the key of G Major, making the melody with recorder, and the accompaniment with the guitar, an instrument that every day I understand more and I am happy for my progress in it. It is worth mentioning that I had played this song once before for the MUSIC community, the novelty this time is that I do not use a background track, and instead, the accompaniment has been done with the guitar and the maracas.

En lo referente a la segunda melodía, les comento que desde hace unas semanas estaba pendiente con interpretar algo de música venezolana, para así poder traer el instrumento CUATRO a la escena musical de este festival, y fue así como decidí interpretar un tema icónico de todos los venezolanos, es decir, VENEZUELA, tema compuesto por dos españoles de nombre Pablo Herrero y José Armenteros. Este tema me evoca una gran nostalgia, y al escucharlo se convierte en una especie de oración por mi país Venezuela, para que se encamine a la grandeza en toda la extensión de la palabra. En torno a este tema tengo una anécdota, cuando tenía unos 13 años, recuerdo que a la casa de mis abuelos visitaba una médico de nacionalidad cubana, y le gustaba mucho que le interpretara esta melodía con mi flauta dulce. Me sorprende que llevo ya unos 20 años tocando esta melodía, y que bonito traerla en esta ocasión al HIVE MUSIC FESTIVAL.

Regarding the second melody, I would like to tell you that for some weeks I had been thinking about playing some Venezuelan music, in order to bring the CUATRO instrument to the musical scene of this festival, and that is how I decided to play an iconic song of all Venezuelans, that is, VENEZUELA, a song composed by two Spaniards named Pablo Herrero and José Armenteros. This song evokes a great nostalgia in me, and when I listen to it, it becomes a kind of prayer for my country Venezuela, so that it may be on its way to greatness in all the extension of the word. I have an anecdote about this theme, when I was about 13 years old, I remember that a doctor of Cuban nationality visited my grandparents' house, and she liked very much that I played this melody with my recorder. I am surprised that I have been playing this melody for about 20 years now, and how nice to bring it to the HIVE MUSIC FESTIVAL on this occasion.

En el tras cámara del recurso audiovisual comparto algunos momentos de la afinación de los instrumentos de cuerda, repaso algunas partes del tema el RELOJ con la flauta, muestro lo que hará las veces de las maracas en mi presentación. Creo que es interesante cuando el músico deja ver ese tras escenas, de alguna forma muestra ese lado empírico del músico o del cantante, ese lado humano asociado al esfuerzo que amerita lograr una presentación musical.

In the behind the scenes of the audiovisual resource I share some moments of the tuning of the string instruments, I review some parts of the theme CLOCK with the flute, I show what will serve as the maracas in my presentation. I think it is interesting when the musician lets you see this behind the scenes, it somehow shows that empirical side of the musician or singer, that human side associated with the effort that a musical presentation requires.

Pero no hay duda que con la práctica todo se puede, espero de corazón se hayan disfrutado de estas interpretaciones, y desde ya preparándome fuerte para lo que será la siguiente ronda del HIVE MUSIC FESTIVAL.
