Greetings to all the @alienarthive community, today I'm here to participate in the fifth part of the Cosmic Creations: Inspired by Art History contest.

I thought it was an excellent and challenging idea, which I love, transforming a historical work of art and activating the imagination to the maximum.

I learned this technique when I was studying graphic design and had never yet done anything with it here at Hive.

Giving the sensation of things coming out of paintings fascinates me, it's like bringing to life what's in the painting.

This is the artwork I chose: La Source (1736) (1736) by the artist Charles-Joseph Natoire (French, 1700 - 1777).

What I did was to divide it into three parts and make with it three different paintings that relate to each other, coming to life. In this way I made a collage with other images. The paintings come to life and are transformed.

Design process

The design is made with the above mentioned artwork, 3 images, a video and 15 layers. The video was added later in the animation.

First I created a background in two layers with a gradient in pastel colours, simulating a wall.

Then I used the picture frame, previously reshaped, as I removed parts of it to make it thinner. I duplicated it twice more and placed it in different parts of the design.

I divided the historical artwork into three parts, modifying the background a bit with the clone stamp and deleting or replacing parts, so that they look like three different works of art. I enhanced the light and contrast.
I placed the works behind the picture frames.

I then selected the whale, copied and pasted it into the design and superimposed it on the giant fish, adjusting it so that it looks like it is part of the painting, but still stands out and comes to life.
I divided the image of the butterflies into several parts and pasted them as if they were coming out of the angel's cone, so that they fly all over the design.

Finally, in the animation I placed the video of the waterfall, erasing everything that exceeds it and adjusting it to the bowl of water that the woman has with a screen fusion to give it a lot of light.

The animation is completely done in After Effects, working the opacity and position in the layers and adding lights in the form of clouds for a better contrast.

Me pareció una idea excelente y desafiante, lo cual me encanta, transformar una obra de arte histórica y activar la imaginación al máximo.

Esta técnica la aprendí cuando estudiaba diseño gráfico y aún nunca había hecho aquí en Hive algo con ella.

Dar la sensación de que las cosas salen de los cuadros me fascina, es como dar vida a lo que contiene ese cuadro.

Esta es la obra de arte que elegí: La fuente (1736) del artista Charles-Joseph Natoire (francés, 1700 - 1777).

Lo que hice fue dividirla en tres partes y realizar con ella tres cuadros distintos que se relacionan entre sí, cobrando vida. De esta manera realice un collage con otras imágenes. Los cuadros cobran vida y se transforman.

Proceso del diseño

El diseño está realizado con la obra de arte antes mencionada, 3 imágenes, un video y 15 capas. El video fue agregado luego en la animación.

Primero cree un fondo en dos capas con un degradado en colores pasteles, simulando una pared.

Luego usé el marco de cuadro, previamente reformado, ya que le quité partes para hacerlo más delgado. Éste lo duplique dos veces mas y lo coloque en distintas partes del diseño.

A la obra de arte histórica la dividí en tres partes, modificando un poco el fondo con el tampón de clonar y borrando o suplantando partes, para que parezcan tres obras de arte diferentes. Les realcé la luz y el contraste.
Coloqué las obras detrás de los marcos de cuadro.

Luego seleccione la ballena, la copié y pegué en el diseño superponiéndola al pez gigante, ajustándola para que parezca que es parte del cuadro, pero a su vez que resalte y cobre vida.
La imagen de las mariposas la dividí en varias partes y las pegué como saliendo del cono que tiene el ángel y así vuelan por todo el diseño.

Finalmente, en la animación coloqué el video de la cascada, borrando todo lo que excede de la misma y ajustándola a cuenco de agua que tiene la mujer con una fusión de pantalla para que le de mucha luz.

La animación esta realizada completamente en After Effects, trabajando la opacidad y la posición en las capas y agregando luces en forma de nubes para un mejor contraste.
