I love surrealism, and also the theme of clouds, nature and freedom.

That's why I wanted to make a design in this style, not only mixing the above but also putting a look right there, the look of the human being on all that beauty.

A tree that emerges from the supposedly inert rock and whose crown is transformed into small clouds that intermingle with the landscape in the heights.

Design process

The design is made with 5 images and in 14 layers.

The background was created by creating a gradient in two layers in two shades of blue and the second layer by flipping it vertically and blending it with strong light.

Then I selected the mountains and placed them in three different layers with different scales and erasing certain parts, especially in the middle one, where the only thing I wanted to be seen was the peak of the mountain.

With the cloud image I created four layers, one of which I placed behind the mountains, enlarging it and blending it with focal light.

The others I placed in front of the mountains in different scales and also with focal light fusion.

Between the mountains and the clouds in front I placed the tree in three layers, making a mask to merge it with the mountains with a gradient. Fusions: focal light, luminosity and soft light.

Then with the image of the small cloud I created many of them, and arranged them on the top of the tree, then I combined all those layers so that they are established as one. The fusion used was focal light.

Finally I placed the eyes between the clouds in front with a darker colour blending.

The animation is completely done in After Effects, working the opacity of each layer and adding lights in the form of clouds for a better contrast.

Me encanta el surrealismo, y también el tema de las nubes, la naturaleza y la libertad.

Por ello quise realizar un diseño de ese estilo, no sólo mezclando lo anterior sino poniendo ahí mismo una mirada, la mirada del ser humano sobre toda esa belleza.

Un árbol que emerge de la roca supuestamente inerte y cuya copa se transforma en pequeñas nubes que se entremezclan con el paisaje en las alturas.

Proceso del diseño

El diseño esta realizado con 5 imágenes y en 14 capas.

El fondo lo cree realizando en dos capas un degradado en dos tonos de azules y a la segunda capa volteándola verticalmente y con fusión de luz fuerte.

Luego seleccioné las montañas y las coloqué en tres capas distintas con diferente escala y borrando ciertas partes, sobre todo en la del medio, en la que lo único que quería que se viera era el pico de la misma.

Con la imagen de las nubes cree cuatro capas, una la coloqué detrás de las montañas, agrandándola y poniéndole fusión de luz focal.

Las demás las puse delante de las montañas en distintas escalas y también con fusión de luz focal.

Entre las montañas y las nubes de adelante dispuse el árbol en tres capas, realizando una máscara para así con un degradado fusionarlo con las montañas. Fusiones: luz focal, luminosidad y luz suave.

Luego con la imagen de la nube pequeña cree muchas de ellas, y las dispuse sobre la copa del árbol, luego combiné todas esas capas para que se establezcan como una sola. La fusión usada fue luz focal.

Finalmente coloqué los ojos entre las nubes de adelante con una fusión de color más oscuro.

La animación está realizada completamente en After Effects, trabajando la opacidad de cada capa y agregando luces en forma de nubes para un mejor contraste.
