Entre la niebla espesa, entre montañas oscuras, en la noche sombría, avanza con sus ocho patas peludas y gigantes entre edificios, superando en varias veces el tamaño de los mismos.

La gente duerme sin sospechar que hay en el exterior, que los acecha.

Escuchan ruidos de un aleteo sobrenatural, sobras se divisan entre las luces de la ciudad, que se van apagando poco a poco, dejándola en penumbras.

La gente se despierta, se asoma, sus ojos no pueden creer lo que ven.

Las calles con salpicadas de veneno mortal, desaparece la luz y la espesura del miedo lo invade todo, no se puede respirar, sus colmillos van sobre aquellos que quieran huir en un intento desesperado, porque ya el veneno está en su sangre.

No hay escapatoria, sucumben ante tan terrible bestia. Vuela sobre ellos y los aniquila y allí instalará su nido…

La raza humana está en peligro.

Proceso del diseño

Me inspire para crear este monstruo en varias cosas que me dan miedo, las arañas, las serpientes y le agregue alas, por eso creí que lo mejor eran las alas de dragón, grandes, fuertes y de fantasía.

Una bestia que acecha en la noche, arrasando con poblaciones enteras e instalando sus nidos en las distintas ciudades, apoderándose así del mundo entero debido a su multiplicación exponencial. Su origen, una mutación o cruce de especies, reales y mitológicas.

El diseño consta de 16 capas y 4 imágenes.

Primero coloqué las montañas realzando colores en varias capas y fusiones.

Luego la ciudad fusionándola con las montañas y haciendo hincapié en la niebla. Apenas se divisa, pero allí esta, en la oscuridad de la noche.

El monstruo lo cree con una araña, la cabeza de una serpiente y alas de dragón, cada parte en diversas capas, primero entrelazadas con el fondo y luego con nitidez sobre él. Cambie todas las partes a un color verde intenso, uniformando así el color de la bestia.

Por último, acerque el diseño del monstruo acentuando el rostro de la serpiente y sus colmillos.

La animación la desarrollé totalmente en After Effects, usando efectos de luces y variando las imágenes en su opacidad, haciendo que aparezcan suavemente las capas y se vayan alternando.

In the thick fog, between dark mountains, in the gloomy night, it advances with its eight giant hairy legs between buildings, several times their size.

People sleep without suspecting what is outside, stalking them.

They hear unearthly fluttering noises, leftovers can be made out among the lights of the city, which are gradually fading, leaving it in darkness.

People wake up, look out, their eyes can't believe what they see.

The streets are splashed with deadly poison, the light disappears and the thicket of fear invades everything, you can't breathe, its fangs go over those who want to flee in a desperate attempt, because the poison is already in their blood.

There is no escape, they succumb to such a terrible beast. It flies over them and annihilates them and there it will install its nest...

The human race is in danger.

Design process

I was inspired to create this monster in several things that scare me, spiders, snakes and I added wings, so I thought that the best were the dragon wings, big, strong and fantasy.

A beast that stalks at night, wiping out entire populations and installing its nests in different cities, thus taking over the whole world due to its exponential multiplication. Its origin, a mutation or crossbreeding of real and mythological species.

The design consists of 16 layers and 4 images.

First I placed the mountains enhancing colours in several layers and fusions.

Then the city merging it with the mountains and emphasizing the fog. It is barely visible, but there it is, in the darkness of the night.

The monster I create with a spider, a snake's head and dragon's wings, each part in several layers, first intertwined with the background and then sharply over it. Change all the parts to a deep green colour, thus evening out the colour of the beast.

Finally, bring the monster design closer by accentuating the snake's face and fangs.

The animation was developed entirely in After Effects, using light effects and varying the opacity of the images, making the layers appear smoothly and alternating them.
