While pondering upon a good interpretation for this weeks theme, I had a few songs that came to mind. However, I settled for this song because although it does not really focus on ethics, it portrays the freedom that comes when we have the right people to look up to and love ourselves no matter what.
From the lyrics of this song, Whitney talks about the importance of young ones having people who can guide them and serve as role models for them in their field. What this does is that it gives them freedom of mind to know they can achieve anything they set their minds to as they have role models who could.
Another vital part of the lyrics talk about people learning to believe in and love themselves regardless. Sometimes in life, we feel lonely and alone in our chosen path. This can limit us from taking risks and opportunities but when we love and believe in ourselves, we give ourselves the freedom to push boundaries, do our best, and give ourselves the best against all odds that life’s struggles bring to limit us.
In line with the theme, “Ethics and Freedom”, I will be performing Whitney Houston’s Greatest Love of All. Have fun tuning in and Thank you always for your time!

Lyrics of Greatest Love of All by Whitney Houston
I believe the children are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be
Everybody searching for a hero
People need someone to look up to
I never found anyone who fulfill my needs
A lonely place to be
And so I learned to depend on me
I decided long ago
Never to walk in anyone's shadows
If I fail, if I succeed
At least I'll live as I believe
No matter what they take from me
They can't take away my dignity
Because the greatest love of all
Is happening to me
I found the greatest love of all
Inside of me
The greatest love of all
Is easy to achieve
Learning to love yourself
It is the greatest love of all
I believe the children are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be
I decided long ago
Never to walk in anyone's shadows
If I fail, if I succeed
At least I'll live as I believe
No matter what they take from me
They can't take away my dignity
Because the greatest love of all
Is happening to me
I found the greatest love of all
Inside of me
The greatest love of all
Is easy to achieve
Learning to love yourself
Is the greatest love of all
And if, by chance, that special place
That you've been dreaming of
Leads you to a lonely place
Find your strength in love

Letra de Greatest Love of All de Whitney Houston
Nunca he encontrado a nadie que satisfaga mis necesidades
Un lugar solitario para estar
Y así aprendí a depender de mí
Decidí hace mucho tiempo
Nunca caminar en las sombras de nadie
Si fracaso, si tengo éxito
Al menos viviré como creo
No importa lo que me quiten
No pueden quitarme mi dignidad
Porque el mayor amor de todos
Me está pasando a mí
Encontré el mayor amor de todos
Dentro de mí
El mayor amor de todos
Es fácil de lograr
Aprender a amarte a ti mismo
Aprender a amarte a ti mismo
Es el mayor amor de todos
Y si, por casualidad, ese lugar especial
Con el que has estado soñando
Te lleva a un lugar solitario
Encuentra tu fuerza en el amor
