Hola, amigos de #geekzone, el día de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi regreso a uno de mis juegos favoritos. Todos tenemos un juego al que nos gusta volver de vez en cuando para ver cómo está la cosa y además porque sabemos que la vamos a pasar muy bien, para mí ese es Stardew Valley. Recientemente, pude ver que era tendencia en Twitter, por lo que después de ver algunas imágenes y comentarios, decidí regresar a visitar mi granja.

Stardew valley, es algo especial para mí, es de esos juegos que, sin importar el tiempo que pase, jamás voy a desinstalar. Incluso cuando cambié de teléfono busqué la manera pasar mi progreso de un equipo a otro, ya que a diferencia de otros juegos, no es tan fácil como hacer respaldo en la nube y ya está (quizás ese es el único punto a mejorar que tiene). Hace algunos años estuve completamente obsesionada con él y era lo único que hacía durante mi embarazo, bueno, además de comer y ver tele. El punto es que avancé lo suficiente como para no querer perderlo. Después del nacimiento de mi hijito, jugar se hizo cada vez más difícil, hasta el punto en el que pasé demasiado tiempo sin hacerme cargo de mis obligaciones en mi granja, pero ahora por fin tengo suficiente tiempo libre para volver a ello.

Antes que nada, quiero aclararles que por más que les parezca este no es un juego únicamente de tener un granjita y cultivar vegetales, qué va. En Stardew Valley hay un montón de cosas que hacer, hay misiones de construcción, de pesca, de exploración, de recolección. También hay combates, relaciones amistosas y amorosas, en fin, hay un sin número de cosas que hacer además de la agricultura, esa es una de las cosas que más me gusta de él, si por alguna cosa ya estoy cansada de cultivar, sé que me puedo ir a la mina a matar bichos raros con mi espada de madera, jajajajaja.

Claro, el que haya muchas cosas que hacer también es contraproducente, porque eso hace que el juego sea completamente enviciante, yo no he logrado sentarme a jugar sin pasarme de la media hora, lo he intentado, pero siempre fallo miserablemente. Mis actividades favoritas dentro del juego son la agricultura, la recolección y la exploración de la mina, en estas tres cosas puedo pasar mil horas. En el video pueden ver que ya tengo más o menos diseñadas mis sembradíos y todo eso, porque ante todo siempre hay que mantener un orden.

En esta ocasión les di un breve recorrido por mi granja y un resumen de casi todas las actividades que hay por hacer en ella. Quizás de buenas a primeras parecería un juego muy bonito y relajante, pero no se dejen engañar, sí es bonito, pero de relajante nada, el tiempo corre tan rápido que debemos saber administrar los días para poder recolectar, cosechar y pescar todo lo que necesitamos para cumplir las diferentes misiones que nos asignan. Como pueden ver en el video, obtener las cosas que necesitamos no es nada fácil y a veces nos llevan varios días (en el juego), así que si no les gusta el grinding la van a pasar un poco mal en Stardew Valley, aunque a decir verdad, el juego es tan genial que sin darnos cuenta podemos pasar horas intentando hacer algo y no sentirlo tan pesado o frustrante.

Returning to my home | Stardew Valley

Hello #geekzone friends, today I want to share with you my return to one of my favorite games. We all have a game that we like to go back to from time to time to see how things are going and also because we know we are going to have a great time, for me that's Stardew Valley. Recently, I could see it was trending on Twitter, so after seeing some pictures and comments, I decided to revisit my farm.

Stardew valley, is something special to me, it's one of those games that, no matter how much time passes, I will never uninstall. Even when I changed phones I looked for a way to move my progress from one device to another, because unlike other games, it's not as easy as just backing it up in the cloud and that's it (maybe that's the only point of improvement it has). A few years ago I was completely obsessed with it and it was the only thing I did during my pregnancy, well, besides eating and watching TV. The point is, I made enough progress that I didn't want to lose it. After the birth of my little boy, playing became increasingly difficult, to the point where I spent too much time not taking care of my duties on my farm, but now I finally have enough free time to get back to it.

First of all, I want to make it clear that as much as it may seem to you this is not just a game about having a little farm and growing vegetables, no way. In Stardew Valley there are a lot of things to do, there are building missions, fishing, exploring, collecting. There are also combats, friendly and loving relationships, in short, there are countless things to do besides farming, that's one of the things I like the most about it, if for some reason I'm tired of farming, I know I can go to the mine to kill weirdos with my wooden sword, hahahahahaha.

Of course, having a lot of things to do is also counterproductive, because that makes the game completely engrossing, I haven't managed to sit down and play without going over half an hour, I've tried, but I always fail miserably. My favorite activities within the game are farming, collecting and exploring the mine, in these three things I can spend a thousand hours. In the video you can see that I already have more or less designed my crops and all that, because first of all you always have to keep order.

This time I gave you a brief tour of my farm and a summary of almost all the activities to do on it. Perhaps at first glance it would seem a very nice and relaxing game, but do not be fooled, yes it is nice, but relaxing nothing, time runs so fast that we must know how to manage the days to collect, harvest and fish everything we need to fulfill the different missions assigned to us. As you can see in the video, getting the things we need is not easy and sometimes it takes us several days (in the game), so if you don't like grinding you are going to have a hard time in Stardew Valley, although to tell the truth, the game is so great that without realizing it we can spend hours trying to do something and not feel so heavy or frustrating.
