BASIC LETTERING FOR BEGINNERS /LETTERING BÁSICO PARA PRINCIPIANTES

Hello, my beautiful people of Hive! I hope you all are doing great and getting lots of love for Valentine's Day.

Today, I bring you a very special video because I'm using artificial intelligence, a tool that is here to stay and that is very useful.

This video is a mini tutorial where I show you how to do lettering in an easy and uncomplicated way and you won't need special markers to make this art, because with a pen and a sheet of paper will be enough for you to make letters that will make the difference when you want to write a beautiful message to someone special.

As some of you know at the beginning of the year I started a new venture called @tayiitos which roughly speaking is about making letters decorated with flowers painted in watercolour on cotton paper accompanied by a name.
Having to write names on each piece motivated me to improve my handwriting to offer a more delicate and quality product and that's how I came to know lettering which is basically the art of drawing letters instead of just writing them giving the words an elegant and sophisticated style.

When we write we do it mechanically, however when we work with lettering we have to pay a lot of attention to detail because each letter is considered an illustration.

In the video I will show you the technique of Brush lettering which consists of two movements:

1. Upward strokes: Very thin lines are made upwards.
2. Downward strokes: Thicker lines are made downwards.

With this technique and a little practice you can master the art of lettering and you will see that you learn very quickly.

You will need the following materials:

 White sheets of paper.
 A ruler.
 An eraser.
 A pencil.
 A pen.
 A round or fine tip marker (Optional).

¡Hola, mi linda gente de Hive! Espero se encuentren muy bien y estén recibiendo mucho amor por ser el Día del San Valentín.

El día de hoy les traigo un video muy singular debido a que estoy usando inteligencia artificial, herramienta que ha llegado para quedarse y que es de gran utilidad.

Este video es un mini tutorial donde les enseño como hacer lettering de una manera fácil y sin complicaciones y además no necesitarás marcadores especiales para realizar este arte, ya que con un bolígrafo y una hoja será suficiente para que elabores letras que harán la diferencia cuando quieras escribir un mensaje hermoso para alguien especial.

Como alguno de ustedes saben a principios de año inicié un nuevo emprendimiento llamado @tayiitos que a groso modo trata de la elaboración de letras decoradas con flores pintadas en acuarela sobre papel de algodón acompañada de un nombre.

El tener que escribir nombres en cada obra me motivó a mejorar mi letra para ofrecer un producto más delicado y de calidad y fue así como conocí el lettering que es básicamente el arte de dibujar letras en lugar de simplemente escribirlas dándole a las palabras un estilo elegante y sofisticado.

Cuando escribimos lo hacemos de forma mecánica, sin embargo cuando trabajamos con el lettering debemos presta mucha atención al detalle debido a que cada letra es considerada una ilustración.

En el video les mostraré la técnica del Brush lettering que consiste en dos movimientos:

1. Trazos ascendentes: Se realizan líneas muy finas hacia arriba.
2. Trazos descendentes: Se realizan líneas más gruesas hacia abajo.

Con esta técnica y con algo de práctica podrás dominar el arte del lettering y ya verás que se aprende muy rápido.

Necesitaras los siguientes materiales:

 Hojas blancas.
 Una regla.
 Un borrador.
 Un lápiz.
 Un bolígrafo.
 Un marcador punta redonda o fina (Opcional)
