Este pasado fin de semana el comité de cultura y deportes de nuestra ciudad organizó en la Plaza Miranda de la ciudad de Villa de Cura un interesante evento cultural deportivo en el marco de los 300 años de la fundación de esta importante ciudad ubicada en el Municipio Zamora del Estado Aragua ( Venezuela ). Desde tempranas horas de este pasado sábado 28 de mayo comenzaron a llegar niños y adolescentes de diferentes instituciones publicas y privadas de la ciudad para enfrentarse de manera amistosa en un particular torneo de ajedrez al aire libre ante la mirada y presencia de propios y visitantes que de a poco fueron colmando los espacios de tan importante lugar para la organización de eventos y espectáculos para todos los villacuranos.

This past weekend the committee of culture and sports of our city organized in the Plaza Miranda of the city of Villa de Cura an interesting cultural sports event in the framework of the 300th anniversary of the founding of this important city located in the Municipality Zamora of Aragua State (Venezuela). From early hours of this past Saturday, May 28, children and teenagers from different public and private institutions of the city began to arrive to face each other in a friendly way in a particular outdoor chess tournament under the gaze and presence of locals and visitors who gradually filled the spaces of such an important place for the organization of events and shows for all villacuranos.

INDERZA

Uno de los organismos o instituciones responsables de la actividad es INDERZA ( Instituto del Deporte de Zamora ) con sede en la antigua "Fundación del Niño Simón" fue el organizador y promotor de la logística y ejecución de toda la actividad desde tempranas horas de la mañana hasta el atardecer ofreciéndole a los participantes refrigerios e hidratación durante toda la jornada. Los tableros de ajedrez, las mesas y hasta los tutores observadores formaron parte del equipo de trabajo de esta noble institución que promueve y difunde la actividad deportiva en todo el Municipio Zamora en diferentes disciplinas deportivas como el baloncesto, el fútbol sala, el fútbol campo , el béisbol y muchos más...

INDERZA

One of the organizations or institutions responsible for the activity is INDERZA (Sports Institute of Zamora) based in the former "Fundación del Niño Simón" was responsible for the logistics and execution of the entire activity from early in the morning until sunset offering refreshments and hydration to the participants throughout the day. The chess boards, tables and even the observing tutors were part of the work team of this noble institution that promotes and spreads sports activities throughout the Municipality of Zamora in different sports disciplines such as basketball, indoor soccer, soccer field, baseball and many more...

Educación y Ajedrez

Entre todos los juegos de mesa que además de ser considerado un deporte más por el entrenamiento mental y preparación que supone, es el ajedrez el que más beneficios educativos ofrece a los estudiantes de los primeros niveles de la educación primaria en Venezuela. La concentración, la disciplina, el compañerismo, y la sana competencia son apenas uno de los pocos valores que este maravilloso juego contribuye en la formación de valores en nuestros jóvenes.

La Jornada se realizó sin ningún contratiempo y bajo un clima hermoso den de la lluvia no hizo acto de presencia y permitió que todos estos jóvenes que nos e conocían en persona entablaran nuevas relaciones de amistad gracias al ajedrez y así se celebró una vez más con deporte y cultura un cumpleaño más de nuestra amada ciudad que luego de tres siglos de su fundación sigue creciendo para el bienestar y progreso de sus habitantes. Among all the board games, chess is not only considered another sport because of the mental training and preparation it involves, but it is also the one that offers the most educational benefits to students in the first levels of primary education in Venezuela. Concentration, discipline, companionship and healthy competition are just some of the few values that this wonderful game contributes to the formation of values in our young people.

The day was carried out without any setback and under a beautiful weather, the rain did not make an appearance and allowed all these young people who did not know each other in person to establish new friendships thanks to chess and thus was celebrated once again with sport and culture another birthday of our beloved city that after three centuries of its founding continues to grow for the welfare and progress of its inhabitants.
