Greetings to all. I am happy to participate in the Hive Open Mic Week #202 where we explore the theme: "Telling a Story" chosen by friend and recent featured artist from our community: @henzeru. Today I share with you my interpretation with my trumpet of "Make You Feel My Love", a Blues Rock song composed by Bob Dylan. One of my favorite versions is Adele's. The melody is melancholic and soulful, with a touch of blues. The song is in the key of A minor with a basic chord progression of I-vi-IV-V. However, the song also uses some jazz chords, such as the dominant seventh chord in the chorus. The lyrics are an expression of unconditional love. The loved one is offered unconditional support and protection. The lyrics are poetic and full of vivid images. I love its simplicity and sincerity, it is the description of a sincere and vulnerable love story.

Me siento contento de participar en el Hive Open Mic Semana #202 donde exploramos la temática: "Contando una Historia" elegida por amigo y artista destacado, reciente de nuestra comunidad: @henzeru. Hoy les comparto mi interpretación con mi trompeta de «Make You Feel My Love», una canción de género Blues Rock compuesta por Bob Dylan. Una de mis versiones favoritas es la de Adele. La melodía es melancólica y conmovedora, con un toque de blues. La canción se encuentra en la tonalidad de La menor con una progresión de acordes básica de I-vi-IV-V. Sin embargo, la canción también utiliza algunos acordes de jazz, como el acorde de séptima dominante en el estribillo. La letra es una expresión de amor incondicional. Se le ofrece a la persona amada apoyo y protección incondicional. La letra es poética y está llena de imágenes vívidas. Me encanta su simplicidad y sinceridad, es la descripción de una historia de amor sincera y vulnerable.

When it comes to stories, there are songs that we identify with because they connect us with deep emotions, such as love, loss, joy and sadness. They help us feel that we are not alone in our experiences and are a source of comfort and support during difficult times. The stories in songs allow us to put ourselves in the shoes of others and understand their experiences. They can challenge our prejudices and open us to new perspectives. For example, "Imagine" by John Lennon is a song that inspires us to imagine a better world without war, poverty or hunger. That is a worthy aspiration of human beings with which we can feel identified. There are many songs that help me remember important events in my life and I feel happy for that special connection.

Cuando se trata de historias, hay canciones con las cuales nos sentimos identificados porque nos conectan con emociones profundas, como el amor, la pérdida, la alegría y la tristeza. Nos ayudan a sentir que no estamos solos en nuestras experiencias y son una fuente de consuelo y apoyo en momentos difíciles. Las historias en las canciones nos permiten ponernos en el lugar de otros y comprender sus experiencias. Pueden desafiar nuestros prejuicios y abrirnos a nuevas perspectivas. Por ejemplo, "Imagine" de John Lennon es una canción que nos inspira a imaginar un mundo mejor sin guerra, pobreza o hambre. Esa es una digna aspiración de los seres humanos con la cual podemos sentirnos identificados. Hay muchas canciones que me ayudan a recordar eventos importantes en mi vida y me siento feliz por esa conexión especial.
