Es un desafío para la sociedad regular la música, porque mientras más limitaciones apliques, es más independiente y revolucionaria. En cada canción busco una perla, algo que represente lo mejor, las riquezas de la vida. Cuando escucho una canción, espero que esta me inspire, y me edifique. Algunas me conectan con mis emociones, otras con mi pasado, con mi presente y con mi futuro. Por otra parte, espero que esta tenga una profunda influencia en mi mente y en mi corazón. Si hay una canción que me conduzca a crecer espiritualmente, y me ayude a ser mejor. Esa es una buena opción en contraste con una denigrante, violenta y que conduzca a la destrucción.

What would you expect from current and future music? Many times I am concerned about the content of music, there is a moral filter that prevents me from listening to music with vulgar, coarse, and immoral lyrics. On the other hand, I think that music cannot have a straitjacket. Music is born to be free and without limitations. It is a challenge for society to regulate music because the more limitations you apply, the more independent and revolutionary it is. In each song, I look for a pearl, something that represents the best, the riches of life. When I listen to a song, I hope it inspires me and uplifts me. Some connect me with my emotions, others with my past, with my present, and with my future. On the other hand, I hope that it will have a profound influence on my mind and heart. If there is a song that leads me to grow spiritually and helps me to be better. That is a good option in contrast to a demeaning, violent, and destructive one.

Lo que me desagrada muchas veces es que existan personas que te impongan lo que debes escuchar. La música es libre, pero cada uno es libre de escuchar lo que le plazca. A veces me siento limitado para hacer música porque no me gusta imponer. Una vez viajé con unos amigos y noté que en una comunidad tenían una música con alto volumen. Yo confieso que estaba buena. Pero era una dictadura de 24 horas. Yo les preguntaba a los dueños de la casa, si eso era así todo en tiempo. Y me dijeron que siempre. Que ya estaban acostumbrados a dormir así. Pienso que es necesario el silencio, el cual considero también es música y que te ayuda a meditar, sentir y recibir inspiración. Cuando tenemos auriculares todo el día, nos perdemos de muchas cosas. Nos impide estar alertas y atentos de nuestro entorno. Lo que espero de la música del futuro es que me ayude a creer en un mundo mejor, a construir una mejor sociedad, y a evolucionar.

What I dislike many times is that there are people who impose what you should listen to. Music is free, but everyone is free to listen to what they please. Sometimes I feel limited to make music because I don't like to impose. Once I traveled with some friends and I noticed that in a community they had loud music. I confess that it was good. But it was a 24-hour dictatorship. I asked the owners of the house if that was the case all the time. And they told me always. That they were used to sleeping like this. I think that silence is necessary, which I also consider music and that helps you to meditate, feel and receive inspiration. When we have headphones on all day, we miss out on a lot of things. It prevents us from being alert and aware of our surroundings. What I hope for the music of the future is that it helps me to believe in a better world, build a better society, and to evolve.
