Today I bring you a very easy to make recipe, a pineapple cake. The best thing about this recipe is that it is not necessary to use an oven, many do not have one, like me, I do not have one. Therefore, I took the alternative of making it in the pan, you will see that it comes out perfectly.

    Hola amigos amantes de las delicias culinarias, la piña es una fruta muy refrescante y que podemos utilizar en muchas elaboraciones veraniegas como jugos, cócteles, ensaladas, dulces. Hoy precisamente te traigo una receta muy fácil de hacer, un pastel de piña. Lo mejor de esta receta es que no es necesario utilizar horno, muchos no cuentan con este, como yo, que no tengo. Por lo tanto, tomé la alternativa de elaborarlo en el sartén, ya verán que sale a la perfección.

    El concurso Hive Top Chef de esta semana convocado por @qurator lleva como tema cocinar con frutas, por lo que aprovecho para ser partícipe de este.     • 1 pineapple / 1 Piña
    • 1 tablespoon of yeast / 1 Cucharada de levadura
    • 100 ml milk / 100 ml de leche
    • 1 tablespoon vanilla / 1 cucharada de vainilla
    • 1 tablespoon margarine / 1 cucharada de margarina
    • 80 g sugar / 80 g de azúcar
    • 160 g wheat flour / 160 g de harina de trigo
    • 1 egg / 1 huevo
    • 50 ml oil / 50 ml de aceite

    The first thing to do is to peel the pineapple and cut it into slices. It is not necessary a whole pineapple, 5 or 6 slices are enough.

    Lo primero que hay que hacer es pelar la piña y picarla en rodajas. No es necesario una piña entera, con 5 o 6 rodajas es suficiente.

    To make the dough, I started by beating the whole egg and 50 g of sugar until it looks like the one shown here.

    Para elaborar la masa, comencé batiendo el huevo entero y 50 g de azúcar hasta que se vea de esta forma que aquí te muestro.

    Then add the vanilla, oil, milk and mix again.

    Luego añadir la vainilla, el aceite, la leche y volvemos a mezclar.

    Sift the flour little by little and then add the tablespoon of yeast. Mix until the dough is homogeneous.

    Tamizar la harina poco a poco y luego agregar la cucharada de levadura. Mezclar hasta que la masa esté homogénea.

    To make the syrup, melt one tablespoon of margarine or butter and add three tablespoons of sugar. Stir until it takes this consistency. Place the pineapple slices on top and then pour the whole mixture.

    Para hacer el almíbar, derretir una cucharada de margarina o mantequilla y agregar tres cucharadas de azúcar. Revolver hasta que tome esta consistencia. Situar las rodajas de piña encima y luego verter toda la mezcla.

    Cook in the covered skillet over low heat for approximately 25-30 minutes. Pierce with a toothpick or knife and if it comes out clean it is ready, otherwise leave for another few minutes. When ready, let it cool, remove the edges and turn over with the help of a large plate.

    Cocinar en el sartén tapado a fuego bajo durante 25-30 minutos aproximadamente. Pinchar con un palillo o cuchillo y si sale limpio ya está listo, de lo contrario dejar otros minutos. Cuando ya esté, dejar enfriar, despegar los bordes y voltear con ayuda de un plato grande.
