Nice Shot - Una experiencia electrificante ⚡

Señores este 2023 ha estado INTENSO. Tanto así que no he tenido mucho tiempo para escribir y darle cariño a mi blog en Hive.

Así que hoy empiezo a ponerme al día y voy a empezar por el principio. ¿Ustedes saben lo que es una Arena Láser? Pues yo no lo sabía hasta hace unos días, cuando fui con unos amigos a Nice Shot, la (según ellos) unica Arena Láser de Cuba. La verdad es que a mí no me consta de la existencia de ningún otro negocio de este tipo en La Isla.

Como puedes ver en la imagen la cosa va de "caerse" a tiros, usando para ello unos chalecos receptores, unas escopetas láser y unas pulseras eléctricas.

Todo este sistema está interconectado vía WiFi y los chalecos lumínicos se pueden configurar para formar equipos por colores (rojo, verde, azul y amarillo).

Las pulseras son opcionales y no aptas para cardíacos, ya que cada vez que te disparan generan una "pequeña" descarga eléctrica ⚡ en la muñeca. Esto le aporta un extra de realismo a la experiencia que ya de por sí es bastante buena.

La arena es una especie de laberinto oscuro decorado con luces LEDs y grafitis futuristas, climatizado y con un espacio lo suficientemente amplio como para desarrollar una estrategia de equipos dentro de ella.

La dinámica es la siguiente:

Cada player comienza con cierta cantidad de vida y de municiones. Si recibe muchos disparos perderá la vida y las luces del chaleco cambiarán a blanco, es decir que murió. Como "premio" terminará electrocutado ⚡🤣.

En cada extremo de la arena se encuentra la base, que no es más que un dispositivo adherido a la pared al cual hay que acercarte de vez en cuando y poner la mano encima para recargar la vida y las municiones.

El ganador de la partida será aquel jugador que más enemigos elimine. Para saber en todo momento como va la partida, podemos auxiliarnos de la pantalla que se encuentra en la escopeta, donde vemos nuestra vida, las municiones restantes y nuestra posición en el ranking.

Medidas de seguridad:
Dentro de la arena está prohibido correr o arrastrarse, esto es con el objetivo de evitar accidentes porque el local es muy oscuro.

Precio:
El precio de este juego varía según el paquete y el tiempo que se contrate. En nuestro caso escogimos la opción más cara, que es además la más generosa.
Se trata de un torneo a dos tiempos, 10 minutos cada vez y un máximo de 6 jugadores.
Mi grupo era de 7 personas, lo cual fue genial porque mientras 6 entraban a la arena, uno filmaba toda la acción. En el segundo tiempo el cámara entró a jugar y yo salí para filmarles un poco.

Para mi que soy un poco sedentario 10 minutos fueron más que suficientes, que se dice rápido pero hay que estar ahí dentro para sentirlos, entre disparos, escondites, corrientazos y trotes terminé con la lengua afuera 😪. Aún así fui el 1er lugar de mi partida. Adjunto pruebas ⤵️:

Dato chistoso: A mitad de partida tuve que acercarme a la cabina a pedirle al chico que dirige el juego que le bajara 2 rayitas a la pulsera porque los corrientazos estaban potentes. La descarga eléctrica ⚡ no era tan pequeña como nos había dicho 🤣.

De regreso a casa les mostré un poco de esta experiencia a mis amigos de Hive, a esos que tengo en un grupo de WhatsApp para estar más cerquita y quedamos en venir un día para vivir la experiencia juntos. Así que es muy probable que un futuro cercano vuelvan a tener noticias de Nice Shot Laser Tag y algún que otro hiver electrocutado ⚡🤣.

🎮 Game Over 🎮

This 2023 has been INTENSE. And so much that I haven't had much time to write and give love to my blog on Hive.

So today I'm starting to catch up and I'm going to start at the beginning. Do you guys know what a Laser Sand is? Well, I didn't know until a few days ago, when I went with some friends to Nice Shot, the (according to them) only Laser Arena in Cuba. The truth is that I am not aware of the existence of any other business of this kind on the island.

As you can see in the image, the thing is to "fall down" with shots, using for this purpose some receiver vests, some laser shotguns and some electric bracelets.

This whole system is interconnected via WiFi and the light vests can be configured to form teams by color (red, green, blue and yellow).

The bracelets are optional and not suitable for cardiacs, as every time you are shot they generate a "small" electric shock ⚡ in the wrist. This brings extra realism to the experience that is already quite good.

The arena is a kind of dark labyrinth decorated with LED lights and futuristic graffiti, air-conditioned and with a space wide enough to develop a team strategy within it.

The dynamics are as follows:

Each player starts with a certain amount of life and ammunition. If he receives too many shots, he will lose his life and the lights on his vest will change to white, meaning that he died. As a "prize" he will end up electrocuted ⚡🤣.

At each end of the arena is the base, which is nothing more than a device attached to the wall to which you have to approach from time to time and put your hand on it to recharge life and ammunition.

The winner of the game will be the player who eliminates the most enemies. To know at all times how the game is going, we can help ourselves from the screen located on the shotgun, where we see our life, remaining ammunition and our position in the ranking.

Security measures:
Inside the arena it is forbidden to run or crawl, this is with the aim of avoiding accidents because the place is very dark.

Price:
The price of this game varies according to the package and time contracted. In our case we chose the most expensive option, which is also the most generous.
It is a two halves tournament, 10 minutes each time and a maximum of 6 players.
My group was 7 people, which was great because while 6 entered the arena, one filmed all the action. In the second half the cameraman went in to play and I went out to film them a bit.

For me being a bit sedentary 10 minutes was more than enough, which is said fast but you have to be in there to feel them, between shooting, hiding, running and jogging I ended up with my tongue out 😪. Still I was 1st place in my batch. Attached proof ⤵️:

Fun fact: In the middle of the game I had to go to the booth to ask the guy who runs the game to lower the bracelet by 2 lines because the electric shocks were powerful. The electric shock ⚡ was not as small as he had told us 🤣.

Back home I showed a little of this experience to my friends from Hive, those I have in a WhatsApp group to be closer and we agreed to come one day to live the experience together. So it is very likely that in the near future you will have news again of Nice Shot Laser Tag and some other electrocuted hiver ⚡🤣.
