HAVING a BLAST es el segundo tema del album Dookie, tercer álbum de estudio de la banda norteamericana Green Day, lanzado el 1 de febrero de 1994.

Me animé a hacer este cover porque Green Day fue una de esas bandas con que aprendí a tocar la guitarra, es un disco muy especial para mí ya que fue uno de los primeros discos originales que mi padre me compró cuando yo tenía unos 15 años aproximadamente; es probable que la memoria me falle (risas).

Es un tema muy fácil de tocar, está basado en acordes de quinta, pero transmite una energía única; mucha adrenalina en este tema la verdad!
Tengo en mente hacer más covers de esta banda, es bueno traer a la mente esos recuerdos de la adolescencia y revivirlos.

El género Punk no es de mis favoritos pero sin duda Green Day es capaz de lograr que te enganches con este estilo.
