About "Montanari":
Nestled in the heart of the Apennine Mountains lies the quaint town of Berceto, a place where history and music intertwine through which runs the ancient Via Francigena. It's here, inspired by the breathtaking landscapes and the rich cultural tapestry of this historic route from Rome to Canterbury, that "Montanari" was born.

This tune is a heartfelt homage to Berceto, the Apennines, and the vibrant spirit of the local community. Composed in collaboration with Mauro, a local legend and an encyclopedia of folk tunes on the accordion, "Montanari" captures the essence of the land and its people. Our journey to this beautiful melody began with an invitation from Giacomo, Francesco, and Elisa on behalf of their cultural association, leading us to collaborate and create something truly special.
