"VIBES" Web3 Music Competition WEEK #5 - SUANET | My idols lied to me.

Why do you sing or make music? How many people do you want to reach? How do you see yourself in the music industry in 5 years? Do you have a well-defined action plan to achieve your goals in music? Are you really aware of something called fame?

These are some of questions that every artist should ask themselves before starting to work towards their musical dream. They are questions that will ground you and save you many emotional ups and downs that you may not always know how to handle.

• Having well-defined goals as per Bryan Tracy is even more important than time, which is our most valuable asset.

• Many desire fame, but are they mentally and spiritually prepared for it?

"My idols lied to me" is a song by Aiyana Lee that talks about the negative side of fame and how you still need to be clear about what you want in your mind, visualize it, and go for it. I loved it from the moment I heard it because it makes you question and reflect on where you truly want to go as an artist and how many people you want to impact with your music...

Answer the questions I started this blog with, and if you take more than a minute to answer them, you should stop what you're doing and think sincerely and deeply about the responses because you might not have a clear direction, which could be draining a lot of your energy and time. Every day, go through the exercise of answering these questions until your mind automatically knows the answers, because only then can you walk firmly in this industry and of course in your life in general.

Remember, if you want to change what surrounds you externally, you must first change and improve what you have within you.

Por qué cantas o haces música? A cuánta gente quieres llegar?
Cómo te visualizas en 5 años dentro de la industria musical? Tienes un plan de acción bien definido para lograr tus objetivos dentro de la música? Eres realmente consciente de algo llamado fama?

Estas son algunas de las preguntas que todo artistas debería hacerse antes de comenzar a trabajar por su sueño musical. Son preguntas que te harán aterrizar sobre la tierra y te ahorrarán muchos altos y bajos emocionales que no siempre sabrás cómo lidiar.

• Tener metas bien definidas según Bryan Tracy es aún más importante que el tiempo que es nuestro más valioso diamante.

• Muchos desean la fama pero estarán preparados mental y espiritualmente para esta?

"My idols lied to me" es una canción de Aiyana Lee que habla sobre el lado negativo de la fama y sobre como aún así debes tener claro qué quieres en tu mente, visualizarlo e ir a por ello. Me encantó desde la 1ra vez que la escuché porque te hace preguntarte y reflexionar hacia dónde realmente quieres llegar como artista y a cuánta gente deseas impactar con tu música...

Responde las preguntas con las que inicié este blog y si te tomas más de un minuto repondiéndolas debes de parar lo que estas haciendo y pensar sincera y profundamente en las respuestas porque posiblemente no tengas claro hacia dónde vas, lo que puede estar restándote mucha energía y tiempo. Todos los días has el ejercicio de responder estas preguntas hasta que en automático tu mente sepa las respuestas, porque únicamente así podrás andar con pasos firmes en esta industria y por supuesto en tu vida en general.

Recuerda, si deseas cambiar cambiar lo que te rodea afuera primero debes cambiar y mejorar lo que tienes dentro de ti.
