¡Saludos amigos y amigas de Hive! La ciudad de Maracay, ubicada en Aragua, es conocida por ser un lugar donde el Street Workout ha encontrado un gran impulso. Esta disciplina deportiva, que combina ejercicios de calistenia y acrobacias, se ha convertido en una forma popular de mantenerse en forma y promover un estilo de vida saludable. Recientemente, mis dos compañeros y yo decidimos hacer una pequeña sesión de freestyle en barras paralelas durante el evento organizado por SWC de la mano de #Hive en el Parque Ejército Las ballenas. Nos entusiasmaba la idea de mostrar nuestras habilidades y compartir nuestra pasión por el Street Workout con otros atletas de la ciudad. Este contenido audiovisual puede ser de motivación para aquellos nuevos practicantes de la Calistenia y el Street Workout que quieran adentrarse en este deporte. Greetings friends of Hive! The city of Maracay, located in Aragua, is known for being a place where Street Workout has found great momentum. This sport discipline, which combines calisthenics and acrobatics, has become a popular way to keep fit and promote a healthy lifestyle. Recently, my two colleagues and I decided to do a small freestyle session on parallel bars during the event organized by SWC hand in hand with #Hive at Las Ballenas Army Park. We were excited to show our skills and share our passion for Street Workout with other athletes in the city. This audiovisual content can be motivational for those new Calisthenics and Street Workout practitioners who want to get into the sport. My name is Stiffen Paternina @stypaternina and this content is for everyone.

El día de la sesión, nos encontramos en el parque principal de Maracay, el nicho más grande de atletas de Street Workout en Aragua, donde se encuentran muchas estructuras para la práctica del deporte y entre ellas, las barras paralelas. El ambiente estaba lleno de energía y emoción. Habíamos invitado dos amigos asistieran y disfrutaran del espectáculo. Comenzamos con un calentamiento adecuado para evitar lesiones y preparar nuestros cuerpos para los desafíos que nos esperaban. Luego, uno a uno, subimos a las barras paralelas y comenzamos a realizar una serie de movimientos básicos, pero un poco impresionantes. Mis compañeros @vroxsser-black, Juan Hernández y yo nos animábamos mutuamente mientras realizábamos diferentes acrobacias, como las famosas paradas de manos, giros en el aire y otros movimientos de equilibrio y tensión. Cada uno de nosotros tenía su propio estilo y técnica, lo que hizo que la sesión fuera aún más interesante y variada.

The day of the session, we met in the main park of Maracay, the largest niche of Street Workout athletes in Aragua, where there are many structures for the practice of the sport and among them, the parallel bars. The atmosphere was full of energy and excitement. We had invited two friends to attend and enjoy the show. We began with a proper warm-up to avoid injury and prepare our bodies for the challenges that awaited us. Then, one by one, we climbed onto the parallel bars and began to perform a series of basic, but somewhat impressive moves. My partners @vroxsser-black, Juan Hernandez and I cheered each other on as we performed different acrobatics, such as the famous handstands, mid-air spins and other balancing and tension moves. Each of us had our own style and technique, which made the session even more interesting and varied.

A medida que realizábamos nuestros movimientos, varios de los atletas experimentados de la ciudad y provenientes de otros estados nos dieron tips y consejos para mejorar ciertos aspectos y progresar en el deporte. Algunos incluso se animaron a unirse a nosotros e intentar algunos movimientos básicos. Fue gratificante ver cómo el Street Workout estaba ganando popularidad y cómo nuestra sesión estaba inspirando a otros a probar esta disciplina. Además de la emoción y la diversión, la sesión de freestyle en barras paralelas también nos brindó una oportunidad para fortalecer nuestros lazos como equipo. Trabajamos juntos, nos apoyamos mutuamente y celebramos nuestros logros. Fue un recordatorio de la importancia de la fraternidad y el compañerismo en el Street Workout.

As we performed our moves, several of the experienced athletes from the city and from other states gave us tips and advice on how to improve certain aspects and progress in the sport. Some were even encouraged to join us and try some basic moves. It was gratifying to see how Street Workout was gaining popularity and how our session was inspiring others to try this discipline. In addition to the excitement and fun, the parallel bars freestyle session also provided us with an opportunity to strengthen our bonds as a team. We worked together, supported each other and celebrated our achievements. It was a reminder of the importance of fraternity and camaraderie in Street Workout.

Al final de la sesión, estábamos agotados pero felices. Habíamos dejado todo en las barras paralelas y habíamos demostrado nuestra pasión por el Street Workout. Nos sentimos orgullosos de haber contribuido al crecimiento de esta disciplina en La Victoria y de haber inspirado a otros a unirse a esta comunidad. En resumen, nuestro día en el evento nos dejó llenos de experiencias y buenos momentos para el recuerdo. No solo disfrutamos de la emoción y la diversión de mostrar nuestras habilidades, sino que también pudimos promover el Street Workout en nuestra ciudad. Esperamos con ansias futuras sesiones y el crecimiento continuo de esta disciplina en Venezuela.

At the end of the session, we were exhausted but happy. We had left everything on the parallel bars and had demonstrated our passion for Street Workout. We were proud to have contributed to the growth of this discipline in La Victoria and to have inspired others to join this community. All in all, our day at the event left us full of experiences and good times to remember. Not only did we enjoy the excitement and fun of showing off our skills, but we were also able to promote Street Workout in our city. We look forward to future sessions and the continued growth of this discipline in Venezuela.
