Apure en un viaje [ESP/ENG]

      ¡Hola querida comunidad de HIVE! Espero todos se encuentren bien. En esta ocasión y como mi primer video, prácticamente mi presentación, quiero traerles una pieza que para mí es muy importante. Yo soy venezolano y aquí hay una pieza muy conocida llamada “Apure en un viaje” es un pasaje de Genaro Prieto y que para mí representa muchas cosas.

      Hace muchos años cuando apenas comenzaba con el instrumento comencé a enfrentarme con lo que para mí eran piezas de gran nivel y en la actualidad veo que sí lo son, digamos que aprenderlas es dar un gran paso en tu carrera como músico. Recuerdo que estaba pequeño cuando conseguí la partitura de esta grandiosa pieza y justo estábamos pasando por la casa de mi tía y me senté todo el rato que estuve ahí sólo a practicar nota por nota toda la canción. Puedo decir de mil maneras que este tema increíble, pero ¿Por qué lo es? Es un tema que te hace mejorar y superarte, te obliga a enfocarte, te coloca un objetivo el cual debes culminar y ese es poder aprenderlo.

      Hoy ya con un poco más de experiencia con mi instrumento, la mandolina, puedo decir que es un tema que me ayudó mucho. En esta ocasión les traigo un video en donde interpreto el cuatro, el bajo y la mandolina. Lo grabé en mi casa con mi interfaz y mi micrófono, espero les guste.

      El proceso de aprender las cosas es lo más importante, todos nos colocamos objetivos y después de ese otro más, siempre es así y es la naturaleza del humano de aprender, pero al final lo que nos hace felices es el proceso, la forma en la que conseguimos nuestros objetivos. Yo duré días aprendiendo ese tema y no podía tocar con mucha destreza o velocidad, pero debo admitir que fui muy feliz tocándolo una y otra vez hasta que sonara como quería, hasta sentir que lo que tocaba le llegaba a alguien y sé que más de uno podrá entender ese sentimiento, cuando te esfuerzas y luchas por lo que quieres, no importa si es de madrugada, tú sigues despierto buscando formas de mejorarte a ti mismo. Porque gracias a ese sentimiento puedo traerles hoy este video.

       Hello dear HIVE community! I hope you are all well. On this occasion and as my first video, practically my presentation, I want to bring you a piece that for me is very important. I am Venezuelan and here is a very well known piece called "Apure en un viaje", a passage by Genaro Prieto that represents many things for me.

       Many years ago when I was just starting with the instrument I began to face what for me were pieces of great level and nowadays I see that they are, let's say that learning them is a big step in your career as a musician. I remember I was little when I got the score of this great piece and we were just passing by my aunt's house and I sat there the whole time I was there just practising the whole song note by note. I can say in a thousand ways that this is an amazing song, but why is it amazing? It's a song that makes you improve and excel, it forces you to focus, it gives you a goal to achieve and that's to learn it.

       Today with a little more experience with my instrument, the mandolin, I can say that it is a theme that helped me a lot. This time I bring you a video where I play the cuatro, the bass and the mandolin. I recorded it at home with my interface and my microphone, I hope you like it.

       The process of learning things is the most important thing, we all set ourselves goals and after that one more, it's always like that and it's human nature to learn, but in the end what makes us happy is the process, the way we achieve our goals. I spent days learning that song and I couldn't play with much skill or speed, but I must admit that I was very happy playing it over and over again until it sounded the way I wanted, until I felt that what I was playing was reaching someone and I know that more than one can understand that feeling, when you strive and fight for what you want, no matter if it's the middle of the night, you are still awake looking for ways to improve yourself. Because of that feeling I can bring you this video today.
