Hello, Hive Open Mic family! This week I'm pleased to participate in this great event, especially with the theme "Asian Culture" proposed for this occasion. Talking about Asian culture is very extensive, so I'm going to focus on Eastern culture, particularly Japanese. There is a lot to say about this country, since there is a lot of richness in its traditions, its gastronomy, its tourist monuments, its martial arts, its code of honor, among other things.
However, one of the aspects that has caught my attention the most is the world of manga and anime, a literary and television production and art form that has crossed borders for many years and that excites young and old with a diversity of genres and themes for all tastes.
In this sense, I have decided to sing a piece which lyrics are in Japanese with some verses in English. It is Avid, ending of the first cut of the anime series "86 - Eighty Six", performed by Sawano Hiroyuki Mizuki and published in 2021. I recommend this beautiful story to those interested in this kind of animation.
¡Hola, familia de Hive Open Mic! Esta semana me complace participar en este gran evento, especialmente con la temática "Cultura Asiática" propuesta para esta ocasión. Hablar de cultura asiática es muy extenso, así que me voy a centrar en la cultura Oriental, particularmente la Japonesa. De este país hay mucho que decir, pues hay mucha riqueza en sus tradiciones, su gastronomía, sus monumentos turísticos, sus artes marciales, su código de honor, entre otras cosas.
Ahora bien, uno de los aspectos que más me ha llamado la atención es el mundo del manga y del anime, una producción y forma de arte literaria y televisiva que ha traspasado fronteras desde hace muchos años y que apasiona a pequeños y a grandes con una diversidad de géneros y temáticas para todos los gustos.
En este sentido, he decido cantar una pieza cuya letra está en lengua japonesa con algunos versos en inglés. Se trata de Avid, ending del primer corte de la serie de anime "86 - Eighty Six", interpretado por Sawano Hiroyuki Mizuki y publicada en 2021. Recomiendo esta hermosa historia a quienes se interesan por este tipo de animación.
