Happy week, Open Mic friends! What a joy to be with you once again. The theme of this week is very interesting to me and I consider it to have many edges. It is the topic Rebirth from Fire.

I immediately associated this theme with God, since from Him comes a healing power that we receive thanks to His infinite love. Fire is a purifying element, and without a doubt I relate it to the flame of the Holy Spirit.

For this week I chose a song titled Caminante (Walker), which I leant many years ago in a church activity and which I remember by memory, perhaps not in the original order; I did not find its lyrics on the web, so it is considered one of those somewhat old songs that are spreading among people. The piece speaks of an encounter with God, as light, guide and path in our lives, a hope and a refuge in the midst of darkness. I am sorry that my voice is not very good due to a discomfort in my throat. I hope it will be to the liking of many.

¡Feliz semana, amigos de Open Mic! Qué alegría estar con ustedes una vez más. El tema de esta semana me resulta muy interesante y considero que tiene muchas aristas. Se trata del tópico Renacer del Fuego.

Esta temática la asocié inmediatamente con Dios, ya que de Él proviene un poder sanador que recibimos gracias a su infinito amor. El fuego es un elemento purificador, y sin lugar a dudas lo relaciono con la llama del Espíritu Santo.

Para esta semana escogí una canción titulada Caminante, la cual conocí hace muchos años en una actividad en la iglesia y que recuerdo de memoria quizás no en el orden original; su letra no la encontré en la web, así que se considera una de esas canciones algo antiguas que van propagándose entre las personas. La pieza habla de un encuentro con Dios, como luz, guía y camino en nuestras vidas, una esperanza y un refugio en medio de las tinieblas. Sepan disculpar que no estoy muy bien de la voz debido a una molestia en la garganta. Espero que sea del agrado de muchos.
