Atardecer - Homenaje a mi amiga Avilia || @rodolfomandolina

Ayer estaba hablando con una amiga, sobre la señora avilia, la señora avilia es alguien que conocí en mi infancia en la primera agrupación musical en la cual estuve como 3 años, y ella me trataba como si fuera mi abuelita, una persona cariñosa y gentil. Al parecer le había dado un derrame cerebral, aparte de otras cosas, así que tuvieron que llevarla al hospital de emergia para que la operarán, lamentablemente, me llegó un mensaje el cual no me esperaba, que decía que había partido de este mundo.

De inmediato los recuerdos me invadieron un poco, la nostalgia se hace presente por aquellos momentos bonitos que pase al lado de ella, y que sin duda era como parte de mi familia.

Hace años, la primera agrupación donde estuve tocando la mandolina se llama Los "Marinos de Punda y sus Guarichas Punderas" este grupo era el encargado de resaltar las diversiones, normalmente tocábamos música muy alegre, donde a través de la música y el canto, muchas bailarinas con trajes coloridos hacían sus coreografías, con energía increíble y con una sonrisa en la cara.

También utilizaban símbolos, dependiendo de la canción y de que se tratara, por ejemplo si era de un animal (un toro), el símbolo que utilizaban era ese animal y normalmente lo bailaba una persona. Allí pase varios años de mi vida, en varias tarimas recorriendo toda la isla donde vivía y llevando alegría a las festividades tradicionales.

En este grupo fue donde aprendí a tocar la mandolina por oído, lo que comúnmente se conoce en Venezuela como "Guataca". Aparte de esto, conocí excelente seres humanos, humildes, sencillos, alegres y de grandes valores.

Allí fue donde conocí a la señora avilia, cada vez que llegaba al ensayo, ella me recibía con una sonrisa y me decía hijo querido cómo estás, y me hacía sentir increíble su manera de tratarme como si fuera mi abuela.

Hoy fui a su entierro, y desde que salimos de la iglesia le dedicamos lo que más le gustaba hacer, que era bailar sus diversiones, y disfrutar de la música. Así que muchas de sus amigas bailarinas rodiaron la urna mientras bailaban con sus coloridos trajes. Yo iba con alguien más tocando la mandolina, mientras ellas bailaban.

Hasta que llegamos al cementerio y era hora de despedirse. Lamentablemente la vida es así, es un ciclo, yo atesorare los bonitos recuerdos que tuve con ella, deseando que descanse en Paz 🕊️.

Esta pieza que les tocó en el vídeo, se llama atardecer, es un tema que se ha vuelto parte de mi en momentos tristes, normalmente me la piden como ofrenda o como homenaje a personas fallecidas, y la he tocado como en 4 oportunidades en velorios de amigos o familiares, porque me lo piden.

Quiero dedicárselo a ella...

Yesterday I was talking to a friend about Mrs. Avilia, Mrs. Avilia is someone I knew in my childhood in the first musical group in which I was in for about 3 years, and she treated me as if she was my grandmother, a loving and gentle person.
Apparently she had a stroke and other things, so they had to take her to the emergency hospital for surgery, unfortunately, I got a message which I did not expect, which said that she had left this world.

Immediately the memories invaded me a little, the nostalgia is present for those beautiful moments that I spent with her, and that undoubtedly was like part of my family.

Years ago, the first group where I was playing the mandolin was called "Los Marinos de Punda y sus Guarichas Punderas" this group was in charge of highlighting the entertainment, we usually played very happy music, where through the music and singing, many dancers with colorful costumes made their choreography, with incredible energy and with a smile on their faces.

They also used symbols, depending on the song and what it was about, for example if it was about an animal (a bull), the symbol they used was that animal and it was usually danced by a person. I spent several years of my life there, on various stages throughout the island where I lived and bringing joy to the traditional festivities.

It was in this group that I learned to play the mandolin by ear, what is commonly known in Venezuela as "Guataca". Apart from this, I met excellent human beings, humble, simple, cheerful and with great values.

That's where I met Mrs. Avilia, every time I arrived at the rehearsal, she would greet me with a smile and tell me dear son how are you, and she made me feel amazing the way she treated me as if she was my grandmother.

Today I went to her funeral, and since we left the church we dedicated her what she loved to do the most, which was to dance her funs, and enjoy the music. So many of her dancing friends surrounded the urn as they danced in their colorful costumes. I was with someone else playing the mandolin, while they danced.

Until we arrived at the cemetery and it was time to say goodbye. Unfortunately life is like that, it's a cycle, I will treasure the beautiful memories I had with her, wishing her rest in Peace 🕊️.

This piece that I played in the video, is called sunset, is a theme that has become part of my sad moments, I usually ask me as an offering or as a tribute to deceased persons, and I've played it about 4 times at wakes of friends or family, because they ask me.

I want to dedicate it to her...
