Good day friends and family of Afritunes community, it's a beautiful Sunday evening to share African music with you all here and today I bring us a cover of "Yabo" by Kingsley Innocent.
For the past few weeks I've been revolving around the bilingual types of songs basically Hausa/English types of songs and today I just bring us another one from Kingsley Innocent also known as K.I.
"Yabo" by K.I is a old song I've learnt many times back from my early days at the university when we presented it together with the school choir. I still can remember the beautiful scenes and scents of the amazing dynamic choir while singing the song by K.I, it was indeed a lovely experience.
"Yabo" is a Hausa word which simply means "worship". In this song by K.I, he talks about why and the need to ascribe all worship and praise to God almighty. If God be our provider and our protector who else shall receive our praises, if God be our creator and our sustainer who else shall receive our praises and Worship. I am a fan of the gospel and a lover of God's word, I love God because He loved me first and gave me what I cannot give myself. I bring to us this sound of worship because I believe that God alone deserves my hallelujah.
I used my acoustic guitar for my music background and the Capcut video editor to edit the video and to also add some little reverb to the sound output. I hope you guys enjoy my entry, thank you 🙏🙌
