Today I am sharing with us a cover of "Oghene do" a song of praise and Thanksgiving to God almighty for the great things He has done and for what He is about to do.
My praises won't be enough to quantity for all God has done for me but out of everything He has given me He choose to collect nothing from it. There is nothing that God lacks and that makes Him the All Sufficient God, this means there's no amount of money that we can pay for the free gifts of nature He has blessed us with.
Since the only thing I can do to please Him is to worship and fellowship with Him, then I have seized my choice but to follow Him till the end of time.
It's of recent I got to find out that "Oghene do" is not an Igbo word because all this while I've mistook it for the Igbos. Oghene do is a phrase from the Edoid language of which is spoken among the Urhobo people and the rest. Oghene do simply means "God Thank You".
I've tried to allign the song with my sick voice, I suffering from little cough and catarrh but since I feel better today, I decided to come in with my presentation for this week. I just hope you find some meaning from my entry. Thank You 🙏
Verse 1]
I lift my hands
I lift my voice
To worship You
To worship You
I lift my hands
I lift my voice
To worship You
To worship You
[Chorus]
Do do do
Oghene do
Oghene do
Do Do do
Oghene do
Oghene do
