Hello everyone, good day and welcome to my blog, this is Afritunes week 101 and I bring in a cover of "Rike ni Ya Yesu" by Treasure Bidemi.
This is a Hausa/English song and "Rike ni Ya Yesu" is a phrase from the Hausa dialect which means "Hold Me Dear Lord". This is a pure gospel song more of a heart cry to God for His guidance and protection.
The world it's in her difficult times and everyone is looking for comfort for themselves via any means they can to survive, many have given up on Life and many are still struggling, as for me I dedicate my life into God's hands knowing fully well that He is in full control. We will keep striving for a better life but the fact still remains that God got the whole world in His hands, as we live life and carry out daily activities our eyes are fixed on eternity too.
I'm sure in God's hands I will not fall and even if I do He will lift me up and clean me up. I hope we all get whatever we desire for in life and as we continue to strive for better days, we shouldn't neglect the teachings and guidelines that will provide us a sound living. Let's show some humanity to whoever we find around us and God will show us mercy too.
Thank you everyone for visiting my blog and without further ado, I leave you to enjoy my entry..
In my journey here on earth
I will hold on to You
In you alone
I put my trust
Maker of the earth
Come and walk with me
Hold me Lord
Don’t let me fall
In my journey here on earth
I will hold on to You
In you alone
I put my trust
Rike Ni Ya Yesu (Hold me Jesus)
Rike Ni Yau (Hold me today)
Kada hin fadi (so I do not fall)
Rike Ni Ya Yesu
Rike Ni Yau
Kada hin fadi
