Highway to hell (Meganova live performance)

Hello everybody! A few days ago I had told you that last October 21st I had my debut gig with Meganova, my girl rock band. We were playing in the event 'Zona Nuevas Bandas' opening for the band Nomasté, which is also a very well known girl band in the city.

This event took place at Sabroso Restaurant, located in Las Mercedes, Caracas. It's a place where they do a lot of gigs and it's located below the well known nightclub La Quinta Bar, so it's a place that is usually very crowded, also we played on a Saturday night, many of our friends were able to attend to see us, and there was a lot of receptivity from the public, many people came up to us to greet us and ask us about the project.

For this gig we had a short set, 20 minutes, where we included some rock classics, so today I bring you an excerpt of our first show playing 'Highway to hell', the classic of AC/DC, a band that we like a lot and can never miss in the repertoire.

This was just our first show, we are getting to know each other on stage and developing our chemistry, you know that's something that you get to know with time playing together, but it seems to me that for our first show we were very fluid between all of us. Hola a todos! Hace unos días les había comentado que el pasado 21 de Octubre tuve concierto debut con Meganova, mi banda de rock de chicas. Estuvimos tocando en el evento ‘Zona Nuevas bandas’ abriendo para la banda Nomasté, que también es una banda de chicas muy conocida en la ciudad.

Este evento tuvo lugar en Sabroso Restaurant, ubicado en Las Mercedes, Caracas. Es un local donde realizan bastantes conciertos y se encuentra debajo de la conocida discoteca La Quinta Bar, por lo que es un sitio que suele estan muy concurrido, además tocamos un sabádo por la noche, bastantes de nuestros amigos lograron asistir para vernos, y hubo mucha receptividad de parte del público, muchas personas se nos acercaron a felicitarnos y preguntarnos sobre el proyecto.

Para este gig tuvimos un set corto, de 20 minutos, donde incluimos algunos clásico del rock, por eso hoy les traigo un extracto de nuestro primer show tocando ‘Highway to hell’, el clásico de AC/DC, una banda que nos gusta mucho y nunca puede faltar en el repertorio.

Esta apenas fue nuestra primer show, nos estamos conociendo en tarima y desarollando nuestra quimica en el escenario, saben que eso es algo que se va agarrando con el tiempo de ir tocando juntas, pero me parece que para ser nuestro primer show nos vimos fluidas entre todas. ¿Ustedes que opinan?
