Kurt Cobain (NIRVANA) Drawing [ENG-ESP]

Hello, I hope friends that everything is very well, today I want to show you a little of my technique with the white pencil, I have found a lot of pleasure in being able to record videos so taking advantage of the option to record shorts, I want to show how I made this drawing with a few very simple steps. simple. Black cardboard is always a good option to practice and have a different perspective on colors, as well as low key photography. I hope you like this little preview.

I made a sketch with wax colored pencil, which is from the Prisma Color brand, I have very little left so I will have to replace it soon. I made the sketch as if it were a very soft pencil and then filled it with a more intense white color. I always make the sketch with simple geometric figures.

Then I use the white charcoal pencil, the real protagonist in this drawing, and its line is incredible, and the best of all is that it can be used in many ways, both to fill in and also to make very intense lines, almost like acrylic paint.

I start with the part of the face that is the most difficult, although it does not look very detailed, the fact that the hair covers almost the entire front part makes it very difficult to shape it, so with the white strokes I must play very well and leave space for the shadows which I will then highlight with a black color. In the same way I am doing the entire part of the hair that corresponds, without forgetting as I said before to leave space for the shadows, in the same way the rest of the body and the guitar.

In the next step I did the opposite, I used the color black to better reinforce the lines and likewise the shadows, but without exaggerating too much in the line since the background of the cardboard is black. A part that was very difficult for me to do is the lower part of the drawing, in what has to do with the guitar and how it fades into the darkness, the first attempts came out deformed until the third attempt turned out well, the same thing happened with Guitar. This type of drawing is difficult because of these details, because a single false movement and the drawing will be very deformed and we will have to start over. To finish, I made the hand with which he makes chords on the guitar, the microphone and improved the folds of the clothes, so I could finish the drawing.

I really like how it looks up close, because the stroke with this pencil is very similar to a brush stroke with paint, so I took a photo as close as possible so that it could be appreciated. I have always been a big fan of the band Nirvana, I have almost all of their albums including the compilations with unreleased songs, that's why I made this drawing. Hola espero amigos que se encuentren todo muy bien, hoy quiero mostrarles un poco de mi técnica con el lápiz blanco, he encontrado mucho placer en poder grabar videos así que, aprovechando la opción de grabar cortos, quiero mostrar como hice este dibujo con unos pasos muy sencillos. La cartulina negra siempre es una buena opción para practicar y tener una perspectiva diferente a los colores, así como la fotografía low key. Espero les guste este pequeño avance.

Hice un boceto con lápiz de color de cera, que es de la marca prisma color, ya me queda muy poco así que pronto tendré que reponerlo. Hice el boceto como si fuera este un lápiz muy suave para luego rellenarlo con un color blanco más intenso, el boceto siempre lo hago con figuras geométricas simples.

Luego utilizo el lápiz de color carboncillo blanco, el verdadero protagonista en este dibujo, y es que su trazo es increíble, y lo mejor de todo es que se puede usar de muchas formas, tanto como para rellenar como para también hacer trazos bien intensos, casi como la pintura acrílica.

Comienzo por la parte del rostro que es la más difícil, aunque no se ve bien detallado, el hecho de que el cabello cubra casi toda la parte frontal hace muy difícil poder darle forma, así que con los trazos de color blanco debo jugar muy bien y dejar el espacio para las sombras las cuales luego voy a resaltar con un color negro. De la misma forma voy haciendo toda la parte del cabello que corresponde, sin olvidar como dije antes dejar espacio para las sombras, de la misma forma el resto del cuerpo y la guitarra.

En el siguiente paso hice lo contrario, utilicé el color negro para poder reforzar mejor las líneas y de igual forma las sombras, pero sin exagerar mucho en el trazo ya que el fondo de la cartulina es de color negro. Una parte que me costó mucho realizar es la parte inferior del dibujo, en lo que tiene que ver con la guitarra y como se desvanece en la oscuridad, los primeros intentos me salían deformes hasta que al tercer intento me salió bien, así también sucedió con la guitarra. Este tipo de dibujo es difícil por esos detalles, porque un solo movimiento el falso y el dibujo quedará muy deforme y habrá que comenzar de nuevo. Para finalizar fui haciendo la mano con la que hace los acordes en la guitarra, el micrófono y mejorar los pliegues de la ropa, así pude dar por finalizado el dibujo.

Me gusta mucho como se ve de cerca, porque el trazo con este lápiz se asemeja mucho a una pincelada con pintura, así que tomé una foto lo más cerca posible para que pudiera apreciarse. Siempre he sido muy fan de la banda Nirvana, tengo casi todos sus discos incluyendo las recopilaciones con canciones inéditas, por eso hice este dibujo.
