Hello dear friends, it’s nice being here again to relate with the theme; ‘FRATERNITY’ in this week 160 of hive open mic community. This theme is very sacrosanct and it deserves a deep and meaningful reflection and even contemplations.

What I feel about the theme

Dear friends, it is very obvious that there is rarely any one in this world who does not have a friend or a form of closeness or fraternity with some person or group of persons. However, it is not every time that we desire to be with or spend time with our friends no matter how close or so dear they may be to us. Sometimes, we just want to be alone reflecting on the realities life throws at us. There are times we wish to be completely independent of even the closest person in our lives and be all alone . Times we need to be all alone just to relate with nature and the wonders of God’s creation. However, dear friends, no matter how much I want to be alone without even my closest friends and family members, there is someone I cannot spend a moment of my life without being with. There is one person I need every moment of my life. The fraternity and bond I wish to create between this one person and me is such that I want to always inhale him even more than the way I breathe in fresh air. The person I’m talking about is no other but Jesus Christ the incarnate son of God. He is my Lord and personal savour and I need him every hour. I can’t imagine my life without him on my side always. If not for him, I would be completely a no body. If not for him, I would have been crushed completely by the challenging moments of this world. Because he is always with me, the challenges of this world have been so encouraging. Encouraging because he helps me always whenever challenges come my way and I am able to triumph and become even much stronger. To this extent therefore, and in line with the theme of FRATERNITY, I am bringing to you a song that is titled; ‘I NEED THEE EVERY HOUR’.
