Hello guys, I am very glad to be here once again in this new opportunity to express ourselves musically and to promote the world peace through this beautiful initiative in the hive open m i c community. And as usual we have a beautiful theme today which is faith hope and love.

I can categorical state that our lives are characterized these three most important virtues namely faith hope and love. And I mean it by this same sequence that is Faith first then comes hope and then love.

An ideal life must first pass through a process of faith, that is Faith in life Faith in the possibility of getting by positively unto success despite the struggles that life presents us daily. Without this belief in life which is known as faith we cannot move or transcend to the second phase which is Hope.

Faith leads to Hope because we can only hope in what we believe in. If I do not believe that my life is for a greater purpose or that my struggles in life will lead me to a successful end then I cannot go on hoping for this beautiful end. Therefore having faith leads us to hoping.

Finally, love can only come into the picture of a life filled with hope. Without hope one cannot trust in the process of loving, in essence one cannot love what/who he/she does not trust in or a process he does not trust in.

In essence these three virtues must work hand in hand and one after the other for us to be able to achieve our purposes in life.

Thinking about these theme of faith in the process hoping in the process and of course loving, I remembered of a favorite song that we used to sing on the assembly ground during my secondary school days. This song for me represents the theme for this week. Those days we used to beat a certain kind of drum pattern while we sing the song in the assembly ground, so I will try to replicate that same drum pattern on a loop with my acoustic guitar while I play the chords and sing along.
