El Ajedrez cambió para siempre desde el momento en que un hombre Cubano llamado José Raúl Capablanca le arrebató el título mundial de Ajedrez a Enmanuel Lasker. Cuando digo que cambió me refiero a que a partir de ahí las tácticas comenzaron a ser más profundas haciendo que este deporte se volviera más serio.

Lo grande de este torneo es que Capablanca demostró por qué era el campeón ya que le tocó hacer frente a jugadores como Frank Marshall, Aron Nimzowitsch y el ya mencionado Alekhine todos con madera de campeón.
