The song Come together was written by John Lennon and is the first song on the September 1969 album, Abbey Road. The truth is that the lyrics of this song do not have a very transcendental or interesting meaning, I think it just talks about the description of the physical or personal style of some individual, linked to a lot of words that I do not find much sense heh, heh.

I once read in an article about the song, which said that it was written at the request of a psychologist and writer named Timothy Leary, who was a scholar who was considering the use of psychoactive substances as mental and spiritual treatments (substances like LSD or DMT). I think he even ran for mayor of some state in the USA. In my personal opinion, I think this guy was not completely wrong, since the use of psychoactives as effective treatments has been seen in pre-Columbian indigenous cultures in their shamanic ceremonies; even I have had the opportunity to take Ayahuasca on a couple of occasions and if I think that these substances beyond a recreational use can be used for healing... But anyway, I hope you enjoy the song.

La canción Come together fue escrita por John Lennon y es la primera en el álbum de septiembre de 1969, Abbey Road. La verdad es que la letra de esta canción no tiene un significado muy trascendental ni muy interesante, creo que solo habla de la descripción del estilo físico o personal de algún individuo, ligado a un montón de palabras que no les encuentro mucho sentido je, je.

Una vez leí en un artículo referente a la canción, el cual decía que había sido escrita a petición de un psicólogo y escritor llamado Timothy Leary, el cual era un estudioso que se planteaba el uso de sustancias psicoactivas como tratamientos mentales y espirituales (sustancias como el LSD o el DMT). Creo que se llegó a postular como alcalde de algún estado e EEUU. En mi opinión personal, creo que este sujeto no estaba del todo equivocado, ya que el uso de psicoactivos como tratamientos efectivos se ha visto en culturas indígenas precolombinas en sus ceremonias chamanicas; hasta yo he tenido la oportunidad de tomar Ayahuasca en un par de ocasiones y si pienso que esas sustancias más allá de un uso recreacional se pueden usar para la sanación... Pero bueno en fin, espero que disfruten de la canción.
