El día de ayer, en referencia a la gira de pretemporada realizada por clubes de Europa, se enfrentaron el Arsenal FC y FC Barcelona; un encuentro que tuvo como anécdota que ambos entrenadores pertenecieron a las categorías inferiores del club catalán, ambos fueron desarrollados en La Masía ideada por el mítico Johan Cruyff, el cual es homenajeado por el Barça, al usar nuevamente el blanco en su camiseta, un color que la última vez que se usó fue en 1979 cuando el delantero neerlandés era jugador de dicho club.

El equipo de Arteta demostró orden, mejor actitud y condición física, aunque también decidió mostrar intensidad y fuerza a la hora de defender y estoy seguro de que eso fue debido a las duras críticas que recibieron por su derrota contra el Manchester United y justamente eso hizo que sus rivales se sintieran desconcertados. El desorden en este encuentro lo demostró el Barcelona que encuentro de ayer fue el primero que realiza en pretemporada; recordemos que hace días se debieron enfrentar a la Juventus, pero fue suspendido por el padecimiento de Gastroenteritis por parte de varios jugadores, un inesperado suceso que afectó plenamente el desarrollo de la pretemporada y un claro ejemplo fue el mal desempeño en el campo de juego.

En el juego de ayer, Xavi usó el esquema 4-3-3, un esquema conocido para los jugadores habituales y los nuevos, un esquema que usó también el equipo rival, pero realizó una mejor práctica y eso fue debido la presión del Arsenal sobre Oriol y Gündogan lo cual facilitó la recuperación del balón por parte de los Gunner muy cerca de la portería defendida por ter Stegen; el otro factor que influyó en el desorden del Barça, en el primer tiempo junto a la intrascendente de ambos laterales, Marcos Alonso por izquierda y Dest por derecha; con respecto al segundo tiempo, Sergi Roberto nunca fue un factor referente para sus compañeros como lateral derecho; así como ocurrió con Frenkie que se vio perdido al no tener un referente a su lado en el medio campo; el equipo azulgrana jugó mal a causa de los muchos problemas presentados en zonas como la defensa y el medio campo, posiblemente los mejores jugadores por parte de los catalanes fueron Pedri y ter Stegen, en el primer tiempo y Balde, Ansu y Dembélé, en los últimos 45 minutos, justamente el segundo tiempo tuvo un factor Influyente y fue la contundencia, el Arsenal chutó a la portería del Barça hasta en cinco oportunidades y consiguió tres goles, en cambio, el Barça tuvo dos chutes que se estrellaron en los parales de la portería defendida por Ramsdale.
