Unseen Sajek & Our Responsibilities

Sajek Vally one of the most popular tourism destination of the evergreen Bangladesh. This beautiful piece of land located in the district of Rangamati and one of the end peak of the country.

Sajek is located 1800 feet above sea level where clouds and range of hills meet each other.

People from the country and abroad goes to Sajek around the year to enjoy the natural beauty of Sajek- rangamati and range of hills of Mijoram.

*This is unseen Sajek like other wild destination of Bangladesh! Have you ever thought about some wild flower you would be expecting during your next tour? I have! I did looked for them, I do love to watch the wild flower, and most of them do not have any fragrances if I am right but they looks awesome. “Komlok Waterfalls” would be on your list if you were adventure lover. You need to find the second helipad and there is a wild road, which will take you to the waterfalls, just after rainy season would be right choice to be the waterfall. Wild flowers, butterflies, smile of some unknown shirt-less kids, clouds, blue sky, waterfalls and the green hills of Rangamati definitely made me think to go again. *

The journey from Khagrachori to Sajek is adventures; hills goes up and done with zigzag road will make you feel the thrill. Most of the road found the top of range of the hills towards the Sajek Vally and you would find hundreds of kids standing both side of the road waving hands to you and expecting chocolates of few coins. I felt both good and bad, it is obviously not a wise way to help them (by throwing from jeep) but I did not find other way! Authorities should step ahead to find some solutions.

As a traveler, I could make sure Bangladesh is one the most beautiful country of the world but information and announcement required to ensure in every step of the tourism area. There should be a small tourism office only for the information for the tourist with experienced customer service personal. In addition, more road sign and guideline required to mention besides a structure required to established so that people could follow them.

Please do not through any unwanted thing to the nature as it would cost thousands times more than you even realise, I have seen a gap of mountain full of plastic and other used things like a Dustbin! Do we think only cleaning water and air would save the environment!? A piece of flamed cigarette bud (or Sabotage) burned four resort, two restaurant and one home second of this month, whatever the reason we need to more conscious about the nature we do love.
