Llega un post mas para la comunidad #GeekZone y se trata del que para mi es un super juego que por algún motivo había quedado en el olvido luego de que pasé mucho tiempo jugando y diviendome con la adrenalina al máximo, eso fue hace unos 20 años, pero ahora que lo retomo y lo pruebo para este gameplay e entendido que ha envejecido muy bien y que aún tiene mucho para dar. San Francisco Rush 2049 es un juego de carreras desarrollado por Midway Games West y lanzado para Dreamcast en el año 2000.

Este no es un simple juegos de carreras, esta ambientado en el futuro y los carros tienen la habilidad de poder volar pero depende de la velocidad y de como gestiones tu habilidad al volante. Las pistas tienen varios pasadisos secretos y tambien se pueden activar rampas que benefician la velocidad y que tambien te pueden permitir tomar atajos.

This is not a simple racing game, it is set in the future and the cars have the ability to fly but it depends on the speed and how you manage your driving skills. The tracks have several secret passages and you can also activate ramps that benefit your speed and also allow you to take shortcuts.

El juego tiene varias modalidades como lo son carreras, practicas, circuito y acrobacias. Tambien cuenta con varios vehículos de los cuales yo elegí el Rocket ZX, y bueno, lo elegí en realidad por ser el primero que aparece, pero todos por lo general funcionan bastante bien. El Rocket ZX tiene una especie de turbo que genera la impresión de que es más rápido, pero en realidad es igual a los demás. Para la segunda carrera elegí otro vehículo y pude confirmar que no hay muchas diferencias.

The game has several modes such as racing, practice, circuit and stunts. It also has several vehicles of which I chose the Rocket ZX, and well, I chose it actually for being the first to appear, but all generally work pretty well. The Rocket ZX has a kind of turbo that creates the impression that it is faster, but in reality it is the same as the others. For the second race I chose another vehicle and was able to confirm that there is not much difference.

Quiero destacar la fácil jugabilidad o fácil manejo que tienen los vehículos, se dejan llevar muy bien, pero a pesar de eso no es nada sencillo ganar las carreras ya que todo es muy igualado; además, tambien debes enfocarte en obtener algunas monedas de oro y plata que se encuentran esparcidas y ocultas a los largo de las pistas y eso hace que pierdas terrenos ante los demas competidores.

Debo decir que este juego tiene un gran apartado gráfico, tiene colores muy vivos que lo modernizaron en una época en la que había una alta competenecia entre fabrincantes y desarrolladores de consolas; tal y como menciono en el video, para ese momento creo que la batalla estaba ganada contra Playstation que era probablemente el mayor competidor.

I must say that this game has a great graphics, it has very vivid colors that modernized it at a time when there was a high competition between manufacturers and developers of consoles; as mentioned in the video, for that time I think the battle was won against Playstation which was probably the biggest competitor.

Por último, debo decir que me impresionó la calidad del audio, los motores, los virajes de las llantas y demás efectos de las pistas son muy detallados y sin duda aumentan la experiencia. Finally, I must say that I was impressed with the quality of the audio, the engines, tire swerves and other effects of the tracks are very detailed and certainly enhance the experience.
