Hello Hive Open Mic family!!!
It's me here again and I'm excited as always to join in on the theme for the week. I specially love the theme for this week as it is one of those "Making impossible possible" themes and it has "Love" as a main focus because there are no distance in Love.

Ahhh nah, I'm not trying to be a love guru here. I just found myself connecting this week's theme to Love.

I didn't think much before I concluded to join the theme of this week "Let's defeat the distance" with a song that has been in my music playlist for a very long time now "One Call Away" sang by Charlie Puth. The song has so much connection with the theme as it reflects where the world is right now... Online connections.

Distance barrier have become old story as there are now ways to be in contact and bridging a distance with almost no efforts but feelings needed. I've seen cases of long distance relationships that survive the tests of distance and become a love to emulate, it is only possible because the parties involved found Solace with the online connections they had, they relies on each other regardless of the distance.

Charlie Puth said a lot of affirming words in this song and one would think he could really do all that through a phone call but no, the assurance said is what matters depending on who's on the other end of the call. I really enjoyed rehearsing this song and the making of the video was fun for me too.

I hope you enjoy listening to the song and most especially the lyrics which got me smiling all through the time I was singing... How amazing it is to have someone you could call anytime and they will be there for you no matter what, that is love conquering distance.
